Let Us Count the $ Ways

windowA couple years ago fellow coach Tom shared a story he heard from Eckhart Tolle that went something like this:

It’s as if you are an apartment building, with lots of doors and windows.  It’s through your open doors and windows that the Universe delivers the goods you’ve been asking for.

The challenge is that most of us have many of our doors and windows closed up.

For example, Tolle suggested, when it comes to Money, most of us have all our doors and windows locked up tight,  except for one – cracked open just an inch or two – which we call our JOB.

The point being that our belief system doesn’t allow most of us to receive as much money as we could be, as easily as we could be.

So all Universe has to work with is a couple of inches.  It has to try to squeeze through all the money we’ve been desiring through this one barely open window.  When instead, if we had all our doors and windows wide open, money (and everything else we want) could quickly and easily flow in!

I’ve found through work with clients, and even in myself at times, that if we don’t see “how” money could come to us, we’re stumped in being able to believe it will.

For that reason, I’d like us to open some doors and windows right now by sharing here all the different ways we know, believe, and imagine money could flow into one’s life.  Please share your story about how money came into your world unexpectedly or unusually!

I’ll start a short list here, and will add to it based on your comments.

(Don’t worry about reading all the comments to see if someone else already posted yours – repeats are great!!)

Possible Ways Money Could Enter a Person’s Life:

  • Earn it
  • Inherit it
  • Find it
  • Be gifted it
  • Win it
  • Conjure it (I’ve done it)
  • Grow it (investments, money trees)
  • Print it
  • Steal it (Martha says if you don’t include something illegal, immoral or unethical, you’re not thinking outisde the box!)
  • Borrow it
  • Remember it (it’s been there all along!)
  • Keep it (when you were expecting to part with it)
  • Raise it (sell something, fundraise, etc.)
  • Tips
  • Pose as model for art class
  • Free airfare (skymiles)
  • Slot machines
  • Get paid for services you’d do for free
  • Win a bet with a friend
  • Refinance the debt/mortgage
  • Insurance settlement proceeds
  • Return something to the store
  • Late wedding presents
  • Win something in a drawing
  • Reward money for info to police
  • Member share check from utility company
  • Refunds
  • Witnessing a marriage
  • Coupons showing up
  • Qualifying for unemployment compensation
  • Bills or expenses less than expected
  • Overpaid escrow refund
  • Interest on savings
  • Government economic stimulus payments
  • Ex-spouse pays back child support
  • Government funded parental leave
  • Gift cards
  • Ask for it
  • Focus group participation
  • Survey incentives
  • Sugardaddies (ha!)
  • Treasure hunt
  • Bank mistakes in your favor
  • Find an old stash of it

Here are a few of my favorite stories about money coming in effortlessly through wide open windows besides the J-O-B one:

After intending more money into his pocket, a client’s mother asked him to read a letter she just received from the Department of Unclaimed Property.  It was alerting her that there was a balance due to her, but she had to complete paperwork in order to claim it.  She told her son if he would do the paperwork, he could keep whatever came from it.  He deposited a check for over $6,000 shortly afterward!

It actually used to be my J-O-B to notify people that they had a balance in a 401k plan that we needed to distribute to them (by law).  More often than not, they had totally forgotten or never even knew they had any money in the plan.  Those were fun letters to send and checks to cut!

One of my clients is masterful at attracting investors to his coaching business.  Most coaches don’t grow their business with someone else’s money, but he has been offered three different (five figure) investments by various people who wanted to support him in his impactful work.

Friend and fellow coach Michele just tweeted yesterday while talking to the IRS that instead of owing them money, it turns out they owe her money!  Way to go, Michele!

Those of you who have worked with me have heard my story about intending effortless easy money, only to discover weeks later that my bank balance was mysteriously higher than it should have been.  Repeatedly.  Even after letting the bank know there was a mistake, the process continued.  Between $100 and $200 every five or six weeks would mysteriously appear.  Couldn’t see the deposit, couldn’t see where I was off in my reconciliation (and I was a CFP – I knew how to reconcile).  Eventually I gave up trying to balance my checkbook, so for all I know it’s still happening!

Okay, I’m turning this party over to you!

Let’s hear ways money comes to us besides our jobs, as well as some of your favorite real life stories where it’s happened to you or someone you know.

Remember, repeat examples are great.  When it comes to opening up doors and windows that we’ve had closed, repetition helps!  (As might re-reading Vibrating Money In or playing with the Money Mantra.)

And if you’re thinking this is the post you need to read rather than contribute to, I invite you to rethink.  We get what we put out, so if you feel particularly ready to let some money in, the best thing you could do is get in alignment with it by recalling a time it’s happened to you!

Here’s to recognizing money for what it is in our lives: whatever we choose it to be

Money!!!!! It comes to me when I ask for it :D By way of gifts, tax returns, visualisation and all the ways above.

A few years ago as a new Massage Therapist I was the last on call so didn’t get much work in the slow season. Wasn’t sure if I would make rent plus I really wanted to go on this weekend trip to watch a rugby game. So I said I wanted $450 that week. Exactly that amount and it was divvied up to the last cent in my mind.

So far I’d been getting about $200 a week. That week, I had the right amount of clients, the right amount of tips etc and as the deadline grew close, I realised I had $430. Was pretty stoked thinking ah well, that’s CLOSE! And then, as the last client walks out the spa, hands me over a $20 tip.

Holy Cow – my first conscious $ manifestation was abs. perfect. Turned out to be an awesome weekend!!

Since then of course, everyone knows about my $60,000 in savings manifestation in 2 years ;) and the time I asked for $10,000 and got it within a week not in cash but in gifts, air tickets, jewelry and the best tax return ever :D

Money, Money, Money, You’re my Honey,
With love, your Money Honey $$

  2. Stephen Taylor says:

A person I know was pulled over by a cop (don’t know the infraction). The guy is in his mid 50’s and the cop couldn’t have been more than about 25. As is usually the case, the cop asks if he can look inside the car. My friend said, sure got for it. The cop then asks if he’ll find anything illegal and my friend responds that it’s likely. Sure enough, the young cop finds a small bit of pot. He proceeds to scold my friend (who is old enough to be his father) about how he is ruining his life by indulging in marijuanna. My friend just gave him a look, but remained silent. The young cop decides that instead of issuing a citation, he will let my friend off with just a warning.

Now some of us might thank our lucky stars and drive slowly home, figuring we had just had our share of luck for the day. My friend saw it differently. Figuring he was having a good day, he stopped at a casino and won $1500 on his first pull of a quarter slot machine.

  3. Good Vibe Coach says:

Ha ha – I want to meet your friend, Stephen! Too funny!

And Tia, of COURSE you would be the first poster on this topic! I’m sure many here will be inspired by your fabulous relationship with money – and I suspect you’re not done sharing stories about it, either! Keep ‘em coming, please!

Thanks for posting, Stephen and Tia. :)

  4. Jackie Gartman says:

I apply the same concept to making money as I do when I always find a great parking space (and I always do!) First, I relax (critical step!). Then I test my desire which is kick ass strong and I then I breathe and believe I will find a killer space. Same with money. My desire is strong, my belief is aligned with my desire and I begin to notice all the ways, large and small, that money comes to me (and I mean from a dime on the street to someone buying me lunch!). Collecting evidence is important to strengthen the belief!

Last week, for example. I had someone here to spray fire retardent on my hillside and he offered me $100 for some old gym equipment in my yard. A couple of months ago, I offered a coach who was about to be tested for certification an opportunity to coach me with real time feedback. I wasn’t expecting payment nor did I ask. She sent me $200. My sister took my husband and I to Las Vegas last weekend because she wanted to. My friend bought me lunch after coaching her informally for 15 minutes. I won two glasses of wine from my colleague because I was sure the Lakers would win and they did…..

You must count all the ways in which money flows into your life….proof is primary.

    Jackie Gartman

  5. Good Vibe Coach says:

I agree, Jackie – collecting evidence is important!

Which you are helping us do here with this great story.

And I have to say, I think this is the first time I ever heard of someone getting paid to BE coached. lol

    Thanks for pitching in, Jackie!

  6. Kevin Webb says:

    Enjoyed this blog post Jeannette.

Love that 6 grand story. That’d even motivate me to do paperwork, and I’d delegate that at any chance I get otherwise.

On Mother’s Day weekend, my parents gave my wife and I a five figure check (as well as my sis and bro-in-law). It was some of the proceeds of the sale of a late Aunt’s house. Not sure what we were saying or doing to create or manifest it, but are grateful to have been gifted it.

Part of it will be used to get our Boxer pup later this year.

Hmm, what else? I’m sure there are plenty of other ways we’re attracting bucks, and more on the way.

  7. Good Vibe Coach says:

Yeah, huh?! I think his mom was thinking it might be a couple hundred at best. lol

I love your example of gifts from parents, Kevin, because I think some folks discount it when it comes that way.

Who else heard Abraham coach the guy who was reluctant to accept down payment money for a house from his dad, even though he’d been wanting to get into a house for some time?

Getting particular about how/who it comes seems kind of silly, huh?!

Thanks for a great example, Kevin!

  8. PurePotential says:

Two years ago during a seminar I was asked to state my relationship with money as a metaphor. I said that money was water slowly dripping from a faucet and that I held a cup below the faucet indicating the amount I needed and as I waited the cup slowly filled. When challenged to arrive at a new image, I changed the faucet and the flow. Now money is water flowly freely through an open faucet and whenever I wanted money I put the cup into the water and it filled instantly.
Once I changed my metaphor money showed up everywhere – change on the ground as I go out of my car; extra money in my checking account, extra money arrived and in the past year I have reduced my mortgage principal amount to the extent that in a year I will pay off the mortgage which is the only monetary debt I have. Woo Hoo
An unexpected effect of the change is the knowledge that any time I question whether I have sufficient funds to do something, for example, go to a seminar, I now know that it is not about the money and really about some other concern. A great signal to ask the important questions about how a particular desire will best serve me and my purpose.
    namaste

  9. Good Vibe Coach says:

I love how you used a visual metaphor to change your experience with money, PurePotential.

    Thanks for sharing that here!

  10. The Inner Genius Coach says:

OK, this is an amazing one.

    Lots of comments from me.

PurePotential, I am borrowing your visualization of a faucet. That is so powerful.

I really love what Jeanette said that Martha Beck said which is to write down something illegal – I like that as a standard of thinking outside the box.

    So here is my list:

-Car accidents and the ensuing settlement
-Sale of useless stuff or stuff you no longer need on ebay or craig’s list
-By being yourself – this is natural for me as a coach
    -Embezzelent
    -Deception or theft
    -The most amazing generous brother
    -The most amazing generous sister
-Saving it to have it for a rainy day
-Returning items you have bought to get money back
    -Investing on a whim
    -Selling dope
    -gambling
-having absolute joy writing a book and then others pay you for it – duh!

OK, I did not say these were my favorite ways. These are ways I have manifested and some of my clients.

O, I loved this post, it really got my brain thinking.

So I am opening all the doors and windows of me to let money flow by thinking of every cell on my skin as an opening for money and opening it up with awareness and love.

    Sheesh! Do you feel that?

    Amazing.

    Iyabo Asani

  11. Good Vibe Coach says:

That’s exactly what we’re here to do, Iyabo – open some more doors and windows!

Great job in that – thanks for posting! :)

  12. Flavia says:

I love receiving money!! Or its equivalent!! I have to say I’ve noticed that I’m a great receiver! I love receiving as I always connect it with the idea of the adoring universe who lovingly tends to all my desires.

We got some unexpected money from people we didn’t even know when we got married. Two years later we received some money as a wedding gift from my hubby’s friend who spontaneously remembered he didn’t give us a gift so he send a couple of hundred dollars over! That was really amusing!! So out of the blue-we had never given it any thoughts whatsoever.

A few weeks ago I won TWO 50% off at California Pizza Kitchen and “Satin Hands” from Mary Kay in a drawing. It was really fun to want to win just to have the experience (nobody knew what the present was).

And few months ago my friend invited me to play Bunco with her. It’s a very simple and fun game and each person adds $5-$10 to the pot and then the one with most games won wins the collected money. Of course I won!! It was great fun! And I sort of had help from my friend who is also a deliberate creator and had intended that I win!! What a sweetheart! I love winning!!

I also find money on the ground and use Wayne Dyer’s “I’m grateful for the abundance that flows constantly into my life”. Money found that way is a great reminder to connect with appreciation….again…just because we can!

Like Iyabo I also have the most amazing generous family members.

I beat the drum of how much money we have and all the ways it comes to us just for the fun of it!

  13. Good Vibe Coach says:

Ha – the wedding gift door, the bunco door, the money on the ground door, the general family door – you’ve got lots open, Flavia!

Thanks for adding to the conversation!

  14. Nicole says:

    to add to everyone’s list…

-reward money for information leading to the solving of a police case

-prizes from an online contest you entered without realizing it

    -change on a sidewalk

    -selling your body

    -being paid to create music

-member share check from a utility company

Abundance is also when things come to you for “free” without the use of trading paper. For instance, a free lunch, free clothes from your mom, furniture your friend would like to give you, etc.

  15. Good Vibe Coach says:

Ooh, Nicole, you’ve got some originals and some unusuals there!

Doing a great job helping us open more doors and windows to money – THANK YOU!

  16. Kelly says:

    A matter of perfect timing…

A couple years ago my car window dropped down into the door frame — a whopping $700+ later, it was repaired. I paid the credit card bill and moved on.

About that time I promised my teenage daughter I’d take her to New York City around Christmas. I bought airline tickets on faith and credit and moved ahead. And began desperately trying to save up spending money for our trip.

In the mail comes a recall notice. The bolts holding the window units in my car were defective. Within three weeks (lightening fast for a car company) I had a full refund of my $700+ — just in time for a trip to NYC.

The funny thing is I’m a terrible saver. So I think the universe was “holding” my money for me so I’d have it at just the right time!

Don’t you just love this stuff! –Kelly

    P.S. For the list….

    – pose as an art class model

  17. Good Vibe Coach says:

Great story, Kelly – and I love the art class model option … getting paid just for being our beautiful selves!! How perfect is THAT for this post?!

    Thanks, girlfriend!

  18. Flavia says:

    More!
I was once payed to be a witness to a couple being married by a judge. They had no witnesses and I was around:))
Also free upgrades are always enjoyable. Just last week my parents went to Greece and were upgraded from a 3 star hotel to a 5 star one:) And a client got upgraded to flying first class. Totally unexpected! But todtally in alignment with what they wanted!

We received a bill for a service my husband needed 4 months prior and it was pretty big. We had already payed for it. This was an add-on. It felt like it came out of the blue, months after and it just didn’t make any sense. So I looked for a better feeling thought and the best thought I could come up with was “It’s a mistake. They’ll fix it. It’s done” And I really felt it done. I told my husband “I don’t have a rational reason why I feel this way but I feel it’s done.” He probably didn’t think much of it. :)

A month went by and then we received an option from them to pay 100$ a month towards it. Again I felt like “Really? We have to pay this? I really feel it’s done.” We did payed the $100 though. And then we received one more bill for $100 but we took our time with it. A few days. Just in time to receive a notice from them that it had been payed for us. No explanations why!
I really don’t care why!:)) I’m just happy my feeling was right. Seriously! It didn’t make any sense! Until it did!!

  19. Good Vibe Coach says:

Sounds like you’ve got an easy peasy money vibe flowing, Flavia! Thanks for sharing it here!

  20. elizabeth says:

this is a good post. I have been intending some money and wondering where it is yet totally forgot to say thank you for all the ways it has arrived lately. :)

    - finding money
    - refunds from random settlement things that I still am clueless about
    - someone buys me lunch or pays for an entrance into a museum or ..
    - offered to put my sister’s name on a wedding gift and she gave me $
    - all my bills have been less than expected, and my paycheck has gone up slightly as I hit my disability quota and the tax thing changed this year
    - random coupons for things that I do need to buy
    - pet store decided to replace my dog’s very expensive raw pet food with an even better, local, cheaper version
    ..

    really, life is grand. :)

  21. Good Vibe Coach says:

FABULOUS examples, Elizabeth! Thanks for adding to the list!

  22. Patty says:

I received a credit from a student loan, it was a pretty big credit.
My dad bought me an airline ticket for my vacation and my boyfriend gave me his bonus check so I could take with me to my vacation.

I tell you lots of GREAT things around money are happening to me.. Money is now my friend.
    I like money now : – )

  23. Pernille Madsen says:

    Woohoo – great post jeannette!

I’ve been having a lot of fun with money lately, and here are some of the unexpected ways money have found me:

    • A friend bought me lunch

    • The electricity bill was lower than usual

    • My favourite chocolate was on sale – bought 2 for the price of 1!

    • My banker accepted a rather huge overdraft for 4 weeks – and then for 4 weeks more!

    • My older daughter offered to lend me some money

    • My younger daughter received 2 bags of clothes from a relative

    • I won a competition about a telemarketing course and a whole day with a telemarketing expert (worth USD 6000 – yeahhh!)

    • I got a very kind and totally unexpected “VIP-discount” when signing up for a course.

    • Jeannette offered an extra teleclass during her last course (and it was good :-) – thanks Jeannette)

    • I found USD 285 in an old box in my closet

    • I received a check of USD 300 from “to much paid –
something – can’t even remember what it was, but I really enjoyed it !

Hey, I’m quite surprised at seing this – I’m actually doing pretty good – yeahhh!

  24. Good Vibe Coach says:

I can tell you’re an easy one for Money to like, Patty! Thanks for bringing that energy to the post!
    :)

And what a great list, Pernille! I love how they just keep spilling out – we get what we look for, huh?! WOO HOO!!

    Thanks for posting, you two!

  25. Bridgette Boudreau says:

    Ooh! Ooh! Me! Me!

I opened the mailbox the other day and there was a letter from the mortgage company–it wasn’t house payment time so I had a little teeny moment of “oh oh” but then quickly dismissed it.

When I opened the letter, there was a check for $700 in there–we had overpaid our escrow for the year. AND our house payment for this year actually went down.

I also manifested ridiculous amounts of money from the IRS this year. I love the IRS.

  26. Good Vibe Coach says:

Bridgette, you’re my hero: from “oh oh” to dismissal to $700 in hand with a lowered payment – YAY!!

This post is ROCKING with great money energy … lots of open doors and windows here!

  27. Kay says:

I love this! I really want to open all the other ways and even close the J-O-B door!

I started a list of money that has come to me effortlessly. So far:

    - interest on my savings
    - my Mum gave me $500 unexpectedly – a share of interest she earned on her inheritance
    - I live in Australia and the federal government just gave me (and millions of other people) $900 to ’stimulate the economy’!
    - I am planning to have my first child in around 18mths – the government just announced govt-funded parental leave to start Jan 2010 for the first time in history – around $9000 for each child – just in time for me!

I know I am going to win multi-millions in the lottery – this is my absolute favourite effortless money strategy!

Thank you Jeanette and all posters – I loved the Eckhardt Tolle story – great metaphor

love and appreciation to this community

  28. Good Vibe Coach says:

That love and appreciation’s coming right back atcha, Kay!

Thanks for the great additions to the list!

  29. Kim Falconer says:

Wow this is so up my alley :)

My favorite way to let money in is to realize it doesn’t exist.

Money is a concept, a thought. An idea.

To allow for the experience of an idea, we get into a philosophical space…a carefree space of exploration and allowing. To allow for money, we gotta let our hair down.

Best ways to open the money doors:

    1. sleep
    2. dream
    3. meditate
    4. love
    5. appreciate
    6. enjoy
    7. savior
    8. smile
    9. cheer
    10. dance

The more carefree we are, the more ideas come to mind, and money is just an idea, like everything else!~

What are you thinking about right now?

    What are you doing next?

Are they light and easy and free?

    Summary:

#1 money attraction stance = lighten up!

    :) Sky’s the limit!~

  30. Good Vibe Coach says:

Okay, Kim, I love how you regularly surprise me!

You’re making me wonder .. have you read Busting Loose From the Money Game? I did a long time ago, because someone I looked up to insisted that I do so (this was back before I knew to pay attention to my own inner guidance 100% – even after my dog chewed up a copy and I had to buy another one in order to read it), and I really didn’t like it. I think because there was something the author said disparagingly about law of attraction that turned me off.

Anyway .. my dad just got back from a study group on this book. And I’m seriously paraphrasing and probably getting it wrong, but one of the things I think they said was that NOTHING exists. That it’s all illusion.

Actually, it was my aunt that shared that one with me.

I don’t remember specifically coming across that concept in the book, probably because I tuned it all out after the part where he dissed LOA, but …

.. your comment is making me wonder if you might suggest not only does money not exist, but perhaps that lots of things don’t. ?

Maybe we should pick this up at Treeon. ;)

At any rate, I LOVE your “lighten up” advice. Thanks for bringing your voice to this conversation, Kim!

  31. JM says:

    Dear Money,

Remember when I found $14 on the street and ended up giving $10 of it to a person on the street that I knew was very hungry? Well, I love that you showed up again, in the form of $14 a week after that! I love that, a few years back…on my way to join Weight Watchers, I found the exact sign-up fee in cash on a road just a few blocks away. You always show up just when I need you and let me know I am SO on the right path!

I can’t stop thinking about how RELIEVED you made me when I returned from taking care of my mom after surgery last week…and missing work….to know I am getting paid my weekly salary anyway!!! Oh, it feels SOOO great to get PAID to take care of and spend time with my amazing mother!

I love that I always see your coins laying on the streets and sidewalks in NYC and feel good knowing that those who need them will find them and be able to have something to eat. I love when I am have leftovers after a meal out and I find someone who definitely will enjoy them. I love when I save money by eating my own leftovers the next day (if I didn’t find someone else who needed them more!).

I love you when I am able to pay my rent and bills every month! It feels so terrific to support myself. Thank you for this job where I can make some extra money and pay off my credit card! I love that I have some insurance right now since I just needed to have my wisdom teeth pulled.

I have gotten paid to do some really silly things and have loved every second of it. My favorite was when my job was to dress as a “sexy construction worker” for a promotion and just cat-call men on the streets on NYC. Brilliant.

I love that people give you to me just for performing! My best “job” in my life thus far was getting paid GREAT money to sing and perform while cruising the caribbean basically on a vacation! People pay me sing and act! I know people will soon be paying me for my doodles, which is GREAT since I have so many and can’t stop!

Thank you money…for all that you make possible. Thank you for always being there whenever I really need you and never being that hard to find. I can’t wait to see more and more of you every single day and will always value your friendship.

    Love always!

    J

  32. Jonathan Lockwood says:

“Steal it (Martha says if you don’t include something illegal, immoral or unethical, you’re not thinking outisde the box!)”

Ha ha! I’ll admit I have been limiting myself in this way; what’s wrong with me?

  33. Good Vibe Coach says:

Okay, JM, you are modeling a WONDERFUL relationship with money for us!

    Much appreciated!!

And Jonathan, thanks for the laugh I got from reading your comment! lol

  34. danae sinclair says:

lol, I’m having fun imagine myself and a friend doing a robbery – pulp fiction style! ( I think I have my characters mixed up tho – in my vision I am Uma Thurman-ish in a fab outfit, and my ‘friend’ is John Travolta, and we’re laughing all the way back to the dance floor!)

I love money too – and money loves me right back. Never will anyone here the words ‘I can’t afford it’ come from my mouth. I’ve sat with my worst fears around money and come away from that without any worries about it.

I’m currently welcoming more money into my experience – money to buy a house, money to travel, money to keep my children in their private school (seeing as their father has closed the doors and windows on that one – bless him!) and money to play and have fun – money for beautiful shoes – lots of them!! … I love how all that money feels flowing in… I love how using that money feels too! I love walking in my new shoes into my beautiful home, seeing my children proud in their school uniforms, showing our family holiday snaps to their friends.

:) I feel so great, I’m a gonna go shoppin’

Funny how that works, huh, Danae? When you said, “I’ve sat with my worst fears around money and come away from that without any worries about it” – it is SO easy to see the gift that comes from being willing to feel and face money fears.

Very inspiring – you’d be a great one to interview on this topic!

  36. Robert Higginson says:

Hey Jeannette, I love, love, love the first example you gave. But then you knew I would. I still remember when that happened. Yes, readers, that $6,000 check was real.

I recently decided to bring more money into my life by giving more of it away. In the Bible God promises to reward us if we give him a tithe (10%) of our increase. And I know that God ALWAYS keeps His promises. The problem was at the time that I was experiences a monthly DEcrease. I was loosing money on my real estate investments. So my income, or increase, was a negative number. How do I give God 10% of that? Well I wasn’t about to let a little detail like that keep me from God’s blessings. So I borrowed against my credit cards to give money to my church. After doing so for several weeks I got a call from my Real Estate Agent informing me that he had just received an offer to buy my property for MORE than I was asking. WHAT? IN THIS MARKET? With so many other similar properties on the market? God is AMAZING. How did He do that? Oh yea, we don’t have to worry about the “hows,” never mind.
    Robert

  37. Mitch says:

Love it love it love it! Here are some ways I have received money, mostly with verbal affirmations.

I had nearly a 4 hour winning streak at a Blackjack table. My friend and I sat down and immediately started talking about all of our “winnings”, and the real winnings were soon to follow!

My boss gave me a $25 iTunes gift card for being a good employee!

My co-worker bought me beers after work on my last day. (Beer is currency, as far as I’m concerned. LOL)

I got paid to sit in the audience of a gameshow filming in Los Angeles!

I drove up to a parking meter and there was plenty of paid time left from the person before me!

I’ve received HUNDREDS of dollars from my mother, who is doing whatever she can to support my acting endeavors. Bless her!

I’ve moved on from a job that didn’t quite pay all the bills to a job that will easily pay for everything I need.

And let me set forth the intention here and now that I’m opening all of my doors and windows. I can’t wait for even more surprise money from the Universe!

  38. Good Vibe Coach says:

Holy hannah, Robert – you are chock full of great money stories!!

We should collaborate on a book! ha ha

Thank you for letting me tell your inspiring story, and for adding yet others to it! You rock!

  39. Good Vibe Coach says:

How SMART for you two to practice that at the gambling table, Mitch!! Brilliant move!

And “beer is currency” has me laughing out loud! You are the BEST, Mitch!

Here’s to lots of wonderful currencies and things and experiences and people and yes, alcohol, flowing through your open doors and windows.
    :)

  40. Leslie Richter says:

I’ve got this cool job working at the bank, just completed the two week training – and the perks just keep on coming.
    Best wage.
Benifits – ? what is that.
Birthday cake on a staff’s birthday – their choice, shared at lunch.
    Can dress like a girl.
The bank deposits 10% of your pay in your term deposit – not from your pay.
My university son can go on my dental.
    I am a bit stunned.
I worked at a grocery store for 2 years for half the wage and no whiff of birthday cake.

And I am so proud of myself. I am doing major healing around money as I handle and count it all day. And I notice the ease and abundant vibe of some people and marvel at it. Got to see it to be it.

  41. Good Vibe Coach says:

Look at you, letting all the good stuff in, Leslie!!

    WOO HOO!!

Way to mend the vibe, by hanging out with it in abundance all day! You go, girl!

  42. MissyB says:

How many of us have memomarble names and numbers for on line bank accounts ? Change them to a money mantra password. For obvioius reasons I shan’t quote mine but here’s an example: MONEYFLOWS2ME. It makes me aware everytime I have to input it as I have to think about it as I type.

As for where money comes from…I asked for £100 to pay for a new mobile phone. The same week I had an email to say if I opened a bank account with a new bank and transferred all my salary etc, they’d give me £100. That’ll do nicely.

And one for the list – MONEY OFF COUPONS !

  43. Good Vibe Coach says:

Oooh, financial incentives! Good one, MissyB!

  44. Candace Brooke says:

Hi Jeanette. Awesome post!! I had not even realised I was doing that. Here are some new doors and windows for me:

*Grow on trees and bushes (hey, why not?!)
    *Lottery!!!
    *Refunds
    *Raises
    *Commission
    *Gifts
    *Loans
    *Prizes
    *Websites & Adsense
    *Affiliate earnings
    *Treasure hunt! (Again, why not?)
*Realizing something you own is worth a lot of money and then getting triple what you expected.
    *Claims
    *Tax back
*Bank messing up and depositing lots of money into your account and then letting you keep it when you flag it up to them.
    *Free stuff
    *Find it
*Credit card card company repaying all the interest they have charged you over the life of your card.
*Getting paid for work you thought you’d done for free.
    *Massively successful product launch.

Ok, hope that was fun for everyone! I enjoyed it!

  45. Good Vibe Coach says:

I am liking your style, Candace!

I’d trade money vibes with you any day. :)

    Thanks for posting!

  46. Mia says:

    Some of my favorites:

    - My mother giving me & my siblings a generous sum for New Year.

    - Getting a double payment from a customer after I’d sent them a reminder because they were late in paying me. This happened to me twice – the first time I sent back the double payment immediately, the second time I kept it a couple of weeks to get my bank balance positive again and then returned it, being grateful for the bridged gap.

    - Having finally begun to accept that there are limits to my bank account (I know, doesn’t sound in line with LOA but it prevents me from continuously blowing my budget) I had two customers – without any hint from me about needing money – tell me that if I sent my invoice straight away they were going to pay me immediately, and a third customer said she was going to pay me in advance, before the job was even started.

    - Clearing out a tin with foreign coins and discovering that I can change into 30-odd euros – much appreciated.

    - Money gifts for my birthday – I love that the day is drawing near again.

    - A friend insisting to lend me money for something she knew I was very passionate about but couldn’t finance on my own.

    - Relaxing about money, even when facing debt, is the major key to me. Getting the stress off my shoulders, detaching my self worth from the amount of money I own or don’t own. Being cool and open about it, even towards others – setting the tone of the conversation when money is the topic: neutral and free, not allowing drama or blame to sneak in.

    Other vibe shifters:

    - Adding pictures of money (in combination with my own photo) to my Pray Rain Journal.

    - Pray Rain Journalling about money and all the cool things I want to do in life.

    - Putting a little jar with coins in every room of my house, so that wherever I am, I see money that’s in my possession. Who says I have no money? Hah!

  47. Good Vibe Coach says:

That’s cool, Mia – your slow payers turn into double payers and you’re so comfortably abundant that you proactively return it in perfect timing!

I also like your example of how quickly it adds up when we collect the loose bits together.

    Thanks for pitching in, Mia!

  48. Jessica says:

-find it hidden in the walls/floors of our old house when we renovate!!! Lots of it!!
    -trip over it! ha!
    -passive income
    -royalties
    -being overpaid!
    -Insurance pay-outs
    -refunds
    -law settlement

I LOVE finding money. It happens all the time. I clean my house, clothes, car… money I didn’t know I had is found! It is so awesome. Just when it helps the most.

    Thanks Big U!!

  49. Good Vibe Coach says:

I’m adding to our list, Jessica! Thanks for these! :)

  50. Cindy says:

Earlier this year Anisa Aven did a video on asking Universe for $10,000.00 , so I went to my favorite window after viewing it and looked out and asked Universe in the same way she did in the video “it took several minutes to verbally imagine myself through receiving the money” it was fun . Then I forgot all about it , I mean I really did then just recently and this is probably 3 or 4 months later my husband came home and told me he was getting a bonus of get this EXACTLY ! $10,000.00 !!! I was so tickled I laughed and was so excited . I was so surprised and then I remembered the video I watched and how I went to my favorite window and looked out at the beautiful snowy scenery and how wonderful it would be if I received $10,000.00 and here I am the owner of $10,000.00 . Yippee .

  51. Good Vibe Coach says:

Way to let $10 grand come in easy, Cindy!

    Thanks for the inspiring story!

  52. MSNikki says:

Here are my not so legal ideas!

*Good ol’ fashioned blackmail or money laundering…ala Tony Soprano!
*Chihuahua-napping of neighbor’s annoying dog and holding him for ransom!
*Counterfeit $ creation?!? Both Euro and dollar!
*Demanding my campaign contributions back…with interest!
*Work as a GoodWill driver picking up items only to sell them @ the flea market or on EBay!
*Expert use of Photoshop and selling photos to tabloids!

  53. Good Vibe Coach says:

MsNikki, you have got me laughing out loud!!

    Thanks for that!!

  54. Tiffany says:

Oooh! I wanna join too! Hahaha :)

-A long, lost, extremely rich relative dies and leaves all their inheritance to someone in the family with YOUR name! (Don’t feel bad about the death part, death is the ultimate connection to God!)
-You walk down the street and win a contest: the first person walking around with a smile gets a million bucks!
-A random philanthropist sees you helping someone cross the street/giving money to homeless/taking in a stray dog and is SO inspired they give you a large sum of money!
-You become an instant celebrity when a famous producer sees you living your wonderful life and wants to put you in his latest movie!
-You win a contest you entered AGES ago!
-You trip in the street, look down, and see it was a pile of hundred dollar bills you tripped over! (Why not? Huh?!)
-God decides She wants you to have loads of money and She leaves it under your pillow. (My God is a She…haha)

    That was fun!

  55. Good Vibe Coach says:

Tiffany, you’re taking us to new heights of having fun with easy money – woo hoo!!

    Come back again, my friend!

  56. Judiesjuice says:

I’m not sure if someone already posted this but I love it when I find money in my pockets or when I switch handbags.

How about reaching into your children’s piggy banks? Hee Hee!!!! Or your spouses’ wallet. (Please note, I would never, ever participate in any such activities). LOL!!

How about simply asking someone for money? Hey, buddy can you spare a dime or $100 :-) Hey Universe, can you please send me $1,000 asap so I can deposit it into my savings account?

    THANK YOU!!!!!!

  57. Good Vibe Coach says:

Oh my gosh, JudiesJuice – ASKING for it! That’s gotta go on the list, too.

Duh!! lol (Why didn’t I think of that?)

    Thanks for joining the fun!

  58. Judiesjuice says:

I also love getting checks in the mail. We are constantly receiving checks from our health insurance due to our healthcare flexible spending. We are not technically getting “new” money since it is our own money we are getting back, but nevertheless, I love receiving those checks!!!

Also, last week was my older daughter’s birthday. My dad gave us money as her birthday present so we can go shopping. Thank you!

  59. Mitch says:

    I just remembered some more!

I once visualized the Universe giving me $5000. A few weeks later, I went on unemployment and found that I qualified for almost exactly $5000! (Possibly even a little more). It was given to me over a period of a few months.

After doing TONS of my “money magnet” affirmations one day, I reached for my keys which were sitting next to some dollar bills, and one of the dollars ACTUALLY STUCK TO MY HAND! I am *literally* a money magnet!

I used to get tips for playing piano in a bar.

  60. Good Vibe Coach says:

Okay, LITERALLY a money magnet, Mitch – that’s cool!!

    ha ha

Love your story, too, about visualizing $5k in and there it comes from unemployment. You’ve got a nice opening for money going!

  61. Kareema says:

I am not sure if this has already been said, but I ALWAYS receive money when I give, especially if it’s my “last.” I am not sure what it is, but giving when I am in need usually brings a flow right back to me , fast! It’s like Elijah and the poor Widow, abundance increases through giving.

  62. Kim Falconer says:

    Hi Kareema,

I think giving ‘our last’ is a sign of ‘not needing’…a sign that we are letting go of resistance.

    Works like magic!

    xxx

  63. Good Vibe Coach says:

Mmm, very good practice to share, Kareema and excellent explanation as to why it’s effective, Kim.

    Thanks you two!

    :)

  64. Kevin Boon says:

Love this post Jeanette as a reminder of all the opportunities where money can flow. I like the image of an apartment with all the doors and windows… Great to visualize all the doors and windows open and money flowing in.

    Kevin

  65. Good Vibe Coach says:

Yeah, the visualization ALONE, Kevin, can make all the difference!

Thanks for reading and especially for posting!

  66. Jessica says:

Here’s one that happened to me this morning!

Money blew onto my lawn! haha!! Who would have thought?

Last night it was raining and very windy. This morning when I was going to my car, I noticed pieces of roof shingles on my lawn. (very old and due to be fixed this month!) then I glimpse of a dollar bill… could it be? It was green like my shingles… but I was going to just ignore it, but curiosity grabbed me and I walked closer. Yup! Sure enough, there was a crinkled dollar bill laying out in the open. Even a teeny bit of wind would have just blown it away. There it was for me and I wouldn’t have seen it if I wasn’t concerned about my roof falling apart. Not usually so excited about a dollar, but this was so unique, that it makes me feel as though boat loads of money will just come pouring in, or …. hahahaha just realized when I returned an hour later, my husband handed me a piece of mail which also had a check for me in it! Anyhow, I’m doin’ sumthin right! Money Vibe, check me out!!!

Thanks for letting me share! Jess

  67. Judiesjuice says:

Jesssica, what a great story! It’s not raining men, it’s raining dollar bills. I’ll take it :-)

  68. Judiesjuice says:

I haven’t done this in a while, but in the past, I would write something on one dollar bills like “Believe in your dreams” and I would love the money in odd places, like hidden in a couch in the coffee shop or hidden behind a bottle of shampoo in the store. I loved doing that. I have to start doing that again.

  69. SelfHelpGoddess says:

Ohhh, what a great idea Jeannette!

I just wrote a blog post myself last week on being opening to receiving abundance. I’ve finally come to really understand and grasp the concept that money and abundance are ALWAYS available to us… it’s up to us, though, to be open to receiving that abundance in a variety of ways and not try to control how it comes to us.

    Here’s my list!
-money on the ground (I find money this way daily)
-friends buying me dinner (I have the best friends!!)
-romantic interests buying me dinner, gifts, etc.
    -gift cards and gift certificates
    -tax refunds
    -economic stimulus checks
    -rewards cards (frequent buyer cards)
-credit cards that give you points for every $ you spend
-winning on-line contests or regular contests
-getting a discount for signing up with a new credit card
    -coupons and other sales promotions
-automatic discounts taken at the register
    -money from parents “just because”
-plane tickets paid for by others
    -vacations paid for by others
-books given to me by others
-clothes given to me by others
    -affiliate sales and AdSense
-selling ebooks and other products on-line
-getting money for used books and clothes

Goodness, I could go on and on and on! This exercise has made me want to start doing this on a regular basis, because it helped me realized how WEALTHY I am!!

The funny thing is, I’ve never really made that much money at my various J-O-B’s, but I’ve always managed to live a really wealthy lifestyle because of all the things that are given to me by my wonderful family, friends, and the Universe at large!!

It’s true that money really is just energy, and the amount of it we have in our lives is directly proportionate to the amount of that abundant energy we allow in on a daily basis! :-)

  70. Tiffany says:

Woah baby! I just got a statement from the bank and it said I only had seventy six dollars in my account. I laughed because I KNEW I had more, so I called the bank and checked on it. I have TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS in there! I wasn’t expecting that much but I was feeling prosperous. That combined with my deliciously plump paycheck coming this week…I’m definitely feeling the abundance!

    :D

  71. elizabeth says:

i am pleased .. i was wishing i had a covered parking space so my pup wouldn’t have to get into a hot vehicle in summer – but didn’t think it worth $75/mth. a few days later, they put up a flyer – $15/mth. first time they offered it in 3 years of living here .. hurrah! a cooler car for everyone! :)

  72. Rebecca says:

Just one of my mo’ money mantras: “I embrace abundance and abundance embraces me.” Money is energy and it flows based on our vibration with abundance.

I intend to find money everywhere and it is everywhere. Checks come in the mail, clients are paying and attracting more clients. My hubby just keeps winning the lottery scratch offs no matter where he plays.

When I open my car door pockets full of change lay at my door. Every time I encounter money I say “thank you to the universe for the abundance” for it is a sign of more to come.

  73. Jule says:

Okay, guys. I am just learning about the Law of Attraction and I know I am still new; but, come on. I am dead broke, right now and just lost my job. Tell me how this works. I will try anything!

  74. Janette says:

I know I keep saying this, but I am sure this blog is tapped directly into my brain! Here are a couple of my own money experiences, which until now I had forgotten (thanks a million for the reminder!):

    - a $5000 insurance cheque to replace our stolen and burned out car, many years ago now
    - access to high-end design software through my J-O-B, which I couldn’t otherwise afford right now
    - winning a writing competition in 2008, with a writing retreat in a fabulous Queensland resort as the prize
    - a phone call out of the blue about a movie job that I wasn’t available for – but my husband was, and earned over $50,000 in three months, doing very little!
    - a roll of cash ($1500) hidden behind old furniture in an empty house we had just bought – my husband found it when vacuuming (a good reason for a thorough cleanup, LOL!)

Despite all of these, I know there are still musty, closed-up rooms in my money-house which need their doors and windows opened. I just love love love this blog and all the fabulous comments – THANK YOU!!!

  75. Kim says:

Ok… so, I’m not the only one that this post has been gifted to right on Time.

My teenager son, after cleaning and organizing his room. It’d been months since he did this, found some money that he had tucked away. We both celebrated and were delighted.

Heres an unusual way money came to our family last year.
I put out the intention for more money last year around August. Worked with the pray rain journal some (thanks jeanette!) and a few other processes. I just played and had fun with the processes, keeping it light. Just trying to raise my vibration and feel less fear and worry and more gratitude and appreciation.
We got a call from our landlord who lives in another state
The rental home our family was living in for about a year was going into forclosure. The home was going to be put up for quick sale, if it didnt sell it would be forclosed on eventually. We could stay as long as we liked, until it sold or forclosed, he didnt want any more rent from us – Duh! and wanted to keep our damage deposit – Uh Ok….. We looked at it as a blessing in disguise, although we didnt know if we would have to find another place to live in 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 6 weeks or 6 months.
We are still living in this home rent free! Saving us over $1000 a month. Forclosure in Florida is a looooooooong process.
There were times people came and looked at the home, made offers, but nothing fell through. We got the opportunity to move to another state next month with my hubbys job, we’ve been wanting to move out of Florida for years and this is the perfect opportunity for us. We’re taking it! We’re excited about the move and new opportunities in San Antonio Texas!
My lesson in all of this-
You NEVER know how it may show up. STAY OPEN TO THE POSSIBILITIES!

  76. Jessica says:

Ooo, Missy B- I have one password that is a money mantra (from awhile ago) and I feel Sooo good once a month when I use it to pay my bill. I mean, it is funny because I’m actually spending money, but I notice that my fixed monthly payment, seems to go down and down!

Kim- So excited for you! I visited San Antonio this past Jan (my first trip in over 20 years!) and it was so beautiful and awesome. Love the rent free story!

Jule- Welcome to LOA! Hang out here for awhile and read a bunch of blog posts. It is so uplifting and great. I think learn as much as you can, but do it because it is fun to, not from a place of desperation. Just slowly begin to notice how you are a powerful creator! At first it may seem uncomfortable, but once you see proof in small little things, then it gets easier, fun and more likely.

Rebecca- love your mantra! Funny, I had to giggle because I certainly have plenty of abundance! I am surrounded in a house FULL of stuff. It accumulates quickly and I am not a consumer! It is all either given to me or belongs to my husband or daughter. I’ve noticed in the past when I purge alot of belongings, it clears the way for money or other stuff that is more needed or more in alignment with me at that time. It is such a great feeling. Let it go, and it comes back to you even better! ;)

Thanks everyone! I love getting thise emails! :)

  77. Mitch says:

I’m back again with a quick, funny story.

I was reading one of Jeannette’s older blog posts called Vibrating Money In, and I was laughing uproariously about Kim Falconer’s method of replacing the word “money” with something ridiculous like “underpants”! LOL

Well, I log onto my MSN account this morning, and what do I see but an article with a subheading that says, “What a guy’s undies say about the economy.” HA HA HA!

Coincidence? I’m learning more and more every day how there is no such thing. :abundant grin:

  78. SelfHelpGoddess says:

I thought of another way I get a TON of freebies!

I try to only buy make-up or other skincare products when they’re giving away freebies with a $20 purchase or whatever. Like when Clinique or Estee Lauder, for example, give away cute bags full of make-up and other supplies “with your $20 purchase.” I always keep an eye out for these freebie specials, and once one is happening I think of something I need to buy anyway and buy it then so I can get the freebies!

I have to admit, I get most of my make-up and beauty supply products this way:)

  79. Patty says:

OMG! ladies & gentlemen I am having so much fun reading all of these post on this blog.

I am new to this blog, just joined last week and I am excited to be a part of this..woo-hoo Money mantras work!

It is so great to open my email and find more and more comments about this subject our friend MONEY : – )

By the way my name is Patty and I live in California, close to San Francisco.

  80. El Baugher says:

WOW! What wonderful stories and ideas.

** LOVE LOVE LOVED the letter to Money**

I have a cell phone I only carry so I know I can always call out and so the school can always reach me if the kids need me. I’ve had it for 3 years and use aprox. $20 in minutes per YEAR.

Well, school’s out in 2 days and my phone is empty. I thought, “Boy, I wish I didn’t have to add anything to this until school starts again. But I like having my phone with me. Free minutes would be awesome!”

About 3 days later, I got a letter in the mail:
Your business is important to us and to show our appreciation, please accept this free $5 credit to your prepaid phone account.

$5 isn’t much for a lot of people’s cell phone bills, but that’s a quarter of a YEAR for me!

    Also..

Last fall I came out of the grocery store and found 2 crisp perfect $50 laying on the asphalt. I picked them up and looked around to see if anyone was clearly missing something or even if anyone who may have obviously just walked by and dropped it, but I was the only person in the whole freaking parking lot.

Manifesting wonderful things is so easy. That’s what makes it so hard. We’re not wired for easy. As humans… we NEED that little red “Easy” button from that commercial. I think it’s “Target”! If anyone has a clue what I’m talking about. LOL

    Anyway…

-Find money in the pocket of clothes you bought at a yard sale.

-I quit smoking and at $5 a pack, I have gained my health and $2000 a year.

-My Husband also quit. That’s 4 total healthy lungs and $4000 a year all together.

    -Sell your hair

    -scrap metal

    -FREE CABLE!

*Also, it’s only occurred to me recently too… but the 2 places I have lived over the last 11 years… both places people complained about how high the utility bills were.

I ALWAYS find our bills to be below what is considered “normal”. I’ve even had utility companies come out, on their own investigations, to check our meters to make sure everything is functioning correctly.

We live in the country. Everything we HAVE is electric. I cook every night and do laundry for 4, with electric hot water AND clothes dryer. Last months electric bill was $75. I kid you not.

I have always lead a “charmed” life. Once I realized how it was happening and harnessed the ability to feel happy, boy did things take off!

    Happy manifesting!

  81. danae sinclair says:

since I was here last I thought of a few things to add to the list –

    * discover you overpaid a debt and are entitled to a refund (this has happened to me!)
*a private detective shows up at your door to tell you a long lost relative (you never knew you had) has passed on and left you millions
    * get a sugar daddy (lol, I had a much older, very wealthy lover once, and he just kept handing me wads of cash!)
    * someone randomly approaches you in the street and gives you a bag of cash
    * a scratch-and-win card in a birthday card yields the jackpot prize

a couple of things that I can recall, just from this past six months –

-my exhusband GAVE me the car we bought together after we had our fourth child together – a volvo seven seater wagon! (next, my share of our home and furniture!!)
-the Australian government gave me $900 per child – I have FIVE
-the australian government gave me $900 for being a student!
    - I was undercharged at the supermarket and got my favourite chocolate half price (that was yesterday! yay toblerone!!)
    - my children’s grandparents offered to pay some of their school fees for next year! (this is HUGE!)

oh, someone wrote about electricity bills being low – this has happened to me too! For two years, with a tumble dryer and air conditioning and hot water etc going all the time (and I do a lot of laundry for all these children!) my quarterly bill was $67! Then I moved house and it went up to $77 – then for some reason it started to act like everyone elses bill :( … thanks for reminding me I have to go back over some ‘power issues’ like I did shortly before the miraculous fixing of my power bill at $67.

and all my passwords are prosperity affirmations!

My dad called last night and apparently owes me a check for $900 and is sending it out to me ASAP!! I had honestly *completely* forgotten about this, so this is like $900 of unexpected income for me!

Hey, who said money from parents doesn’t count?! ;)

  83. Mitch says:

Money from parents totally counts! Abraham always says, the things we want will come to us through our crack of least resistance.

I, for one, have a very strong expectation that my parents can and will help me out, and quite honestly, I’ve received more from them recently than from my J-O-B! And all I had to do was ask!

Now let’s working on building that expectation of everyone else in the world, shall we?? lol

  84. Tammy says:

My first time manifesting money was 2 years ago, Christmastime, I had no money in hand and twin daughters looking forward to a visit from Santa. I had just read “The Secret” and jumped in with both feet. I saw myself shopping, felt the relief..I was totally in the moment. 1 week before Christmas an ex-boyfriend, that I had not spoken to in 4 years or more, showed up with $ 1000.00 for me. He had sold his house and wanted to give me some of the money because I had helped fix up his home with a little hard work. I was so excited and honestly a little taken aback at how easy it was to manifest.
I am now in a bit of a financial situation that to others would look dire, but I know that if this very large door closes for me, there is an even larger window about to open, and I cannot wait to see what that window is going to be. Everything always works out as long as I keep the confidence and joy. Love and Money to all!

  85. SelfHelpGoddess says:

Sorry, I totally don’t mean to be hogging all the space here, but the more I list the more that comes to me!

Let’s add this to the list:
-free review copies of books and other materials for my website!

Goodness, receiving free self-help books and other resources is about as good as it gets for me!! WAHOO! :-)

Mitch, I totally love what you said about us receiving things through our cracks of least resistance… And here’s to all of us widening those cracks and receiving from all kinds of sources!

Have to say – Mia, your bit about pictures of money… dang! It’s good! And every time my son draws another picture, makes another pop-up card, prize winning note, $5,000 or $5,000,000 bill that is a reward to me, after jumping with joy, I ask him what he’s going to do when it comes!
    I love it! Thank you!
Jeannette, I dare say this post is in the popularity range of an earlier love post – You Rock, Baby!
    And that’s why…
    - this property I rent ends up being given to me for $100!
    - a wealthy woman decides to become my benefactor!
    - a major publisher realizes its in their best interest to offer me an advance and royalties even greater than John Irving received!
    Gratzi – I needed this!

  87. Robert Higginson says:

Several people have mentioned that small bills that allow us to keep more money is just as good as receiving money. The apartment analogy is good, and I also like the one that Robert Allen uses when he compares our financial lives to a giant bathtub. He says that you want to have as many faucets flowing in as possible, but you also want to plug as many drains as possible. In MY case I’ve done that by being hired on with a company that provides me with a company car. That is a HUGE savings!

  88. Keith says:

I was reading the posts yesterday and the “illegal” ways of allowing money into your life were making me feel a little uncomfortable… until I was smacked in the head with reality. Literally 5 minutes after I finished checking out the posts, my wife comes home from grocery shopping with my 2 year old son. She tells me how he helped himself to a “free” candy bar at the grocery store checkout. She said by the time she noticed what he was eating, they were already in the car and could not go back in to pay… I stopped myself from asking when she was going back to pay for the candy bar! :) I guess my son already knows how to manifest easy money in the form of things he loves!!!!

    - just got one more today I want to share:

My 22 year old daughter recently participated in a competition about describing the taste of Cocio and she made it to the final, but didn’t win. However, today she received a whole year’s consumation of Cocio for making it to the final – which meant 378 bottles of Cocio delivered at our house :-)

For those convening @ Treeon Temple:

    Money Doesn’t Exist 101
    Instructor: Mistress Nellion Paree
    Main Temple Courtyard

I think I lost some of you when I said ‘Money doesn’t exist.’ It’s kind of like saying fire doesn’t exist when one is raging towards your house. Or that time doesn’t exist when you’re late (she points at students in the back row) or early (points a the ravens in the trees overhead). It’s even like saying air doesn’t exist when you are submerged in the sea.

So let’s look at it another way.

EVERYTHING, including MONEY is energy in motion and on that level it doesn’t exist AS money or object/person. It, in this case your gold coins, are no different than the air you breath or the sword you wield.

    (hand goes up)
    (yes Teg?)

    ‘Or the sword wound, Mistress?’

    ‘Exactly.’

If you want an easy flow of coin in your life, do the same thing you do every day to ensure an easy flow of air into and out of (equally important) your lungs.

    (silence)

Homework for the full Moon weekend: Think about having enough money the exact same amount of times you think about having enough air to breathe. SCUBA divers, see me after class for an alternate exercise.

  97. Lois says:

I love this blog about money. I was reading through the repsonses last night and thought about the times recently that I have received unexpected money. Several times in the past few weeks, I have put something on and found money in the pockets. Last week I was cleaning out my wallet and found a $10 bill folded up in a receipt. It’s always fun to find unexpected money regardless of the amount. Then I started thinking, it’s just as fun to receive things also and set my intent on that. First thing this morning as I was driving out of my driveway my ex was stopping by to pick up my son. He looked at my car which badly needs to be washed and said, “I have a coupon that you can use to get a free car wash.” I thought wow, the day has barely started and I am getting free things already. My expectation is that this will continue throughout the day. What other things is the universe sending my way? I can hardly wait to find out.

I recently have started doing personal development related to the Law of Attraction. I love this blog because it opens my eyes to see that I am receiving abundance in many ways that I had not stopped to consider. Here are some of the ways – I am thankful for this opportunity to share how the positive change is working. Here are some ways some money came into my world unexpectedly or unusually!
    - I was shopping a grocery store and a clerk gave me a coupon for discounting my total bill by $20.
    - I bought some items at a store for which they overlooked charging me – when I went back to pay them for the overlooked items – they thanked me and let me keep the items for free.
    - I run started a small franchise business and thought I was not sure how I was going to pay my first months bills. I wanted to sell at least 25 items, I sold 50! Turns out I ended up getting $150 credit in addition to being very close to breaking even.
    - My in-laws have been offering free babysitting at least once a week.
    - Our neighbors went on vacation and offered use of their pool if we would check on their dog – which we would have done anyway for nothing.
Yes, there are many windows and doors for receiving prosperity – thanks for removing the blinds so that I could see that.

Great blog! Just bought your ‘Adventures in Manifesting’ ebook too! :)

Ways money has come to me:
    *Lent it by my boyfriend
    *Unexpected tax return
*Asked for £10 ‘cash back’ and got given £20. I actually told them and handed it back but if it happened again I would just say thank you! ;)
*Given it as a thank you for services I had offered for free :)
*Looked back at receipts to find they had made a mistake in my favour.
*Getting to the till and finding what I had planned to buy had been reduced
*Inherited £13,162 from my Grandparents (thank you Grannie and Grandad)
*Lent interest free money to pay for my car and then was let off the last 4 months payments.
    *Found it on the floor
*Random guy gave me 20p for my ticket instead of me having to break into a note.
*Sold lots of hangers easily during one of my talks.
*Dad paid my car tax for a year …thanks Dad!
    *Got paid extra
*Lots of tips when I was waitress
    *Earning commission on Kettlewell tops
*Earning commission on Jane Fardon make-up

Other things I have noticed while doing LOA:
*Got an extra piece of cake in 5 bar pack. Very excited about hehe
*Got upgraded to business class on way to Sydney in December…I was sooo excited and appreciative!
*Got upgraded at our first hotel once we got there.
    *2 for 1 vouchers

    Could happen:
    *win the Next car :)
    *win competition
    *just win it
*offered more money for my consultations
*Conjure it (I wanna know how you did that!!)
    *more commission

oooh…there are so many more I just need to think harder.

Love this game! Thanks so much…just what I needed.
