Hey Nat,
thanks for the big and much needed reminder to align our actions with the feel-good. This is no loa commonplace as some might think - it begs being repeatedly remembered each and every day.
"Each action must include you – your energy – your essence." - this shines so much clarity and truth at the same time.

XOXO to all ;)

Adrienne - Thanks for spreading the love. BTW, I've started to love words too, ever since I started to see deeper into their derivations. I was thinking about the word 'sorcerer' the other day. Sorcerer -> someone who works with Source. Or the word 'Resourceful' -> Re full (or refill) with Source

Berta - I bet you're not that far from inspired. Doing anything that makes you feel good is inspiration. Just deciding to feel good is inspiration too. Cuz when Spirit is flowing in you, you feel good. So giving 2-weeks notice probably felt good, yes? Congrats on following your heart :-) Also, I want to add that working hard is not necessarily a bad thing. If we truly enjoy - are having fun and are feeling good - while working hard then we're still in the vortex. Working hard kicks us out of the vortex only when working hard feels like a chore or you feel you don't have any other choice...

Nat, I am so embroiled in working hard but so far from being inspired. I suppose this is the contrast. I gave a two weeks notice on one job and am getting into alignment with what I really love and want to do; what makes my heart sing. Last night I found an Abe recording talking about getting into the vortex. Your post, as well as Tshombe, Annette and Adrienne's responses remind me of this video. Thank you for you explaination. Here is the video link in case you would like to see it:

Nat - I just forwarded your response around to a bunch of friends. I agree - brilliant, and I especially love the new insight into the derivation of the word "inspired", because, personally, I just love words.

Nat, I agree with Tshombe - Brilliant post!
You make TONS of sense. Inspired action does always feel good and light, even if it doesn't seem to 'make sense' at the time.
I absolutely love your end question and the answer. It is so true and easy - yet sometimes (often) we make it so difficult.
Let me tell you - I would jump at the chance to be around someone who was in alignment and happy about the Now, but I would jump at the chance to walk away from someone who is so driven with actions that they lose their essence and Why's for their dreams.
The 1st person embodies Love, and the 2nd embodies struggle.
Thank you Nat!

Tshombe, Thanks so much for your love, gratitude and support. Glad that I could serve.

....

I had been reviewing my comment above just so that I could absorb at a deeper level and this idea came to me to share.

When you take actions that in alignment with you, everything is just easier. You become part of the process. You're part-nering with yourself. In a sense, you become the process or the process/action is an extension of you - instead of something outside of you. You're one. This connection to yourself, connects you to Source, which puts you in the flow, which just feels good. So follow the good vibes.

Nat,

That is a brilliant post. I love your personal integration and concrete articulation of what being in flow really means.

What you've explained is aligned with the essence of the curriculum I'm putting together for an upcoming group coaching program and as you say "if it serves you, cool!"

It does!

Thank you.

Sending much love & gratitude ~
