What better way to launch 2010 than to consciously acknowledge our favorite manifestations of the prior year?

That spotlight is a powerful way to call in even more fabulous unfoldings.

In fact, after we share our favorite ways of leveraging the law of attraction in 2009, let’s add our top “up and coming” manifestations for the new year!

I’ll start:

Money Mojo
I really liked what happened with the Money Mojo group in July! I had intended a couple of things for it, including (direct quotes from my personal Intentions Journal):

a mind-blowing money course

huge influx of easy money

100% rate of honoring the gut

more enjoyment of life

money course is a life-changing hit!

a crowning glory of a group event

And sure enough, it blew my mind. (Maybe I should have specified I wanted to blow your minds, huh? That’s what I was actually thinking, although I liked being on the receiving end!)

I followed guidance that led me to offer it as a pay what you want, when you want, if you want course, which I’d never done before. (And didn’t know anyone who successfully had.)

I also followed guidance that said give everyone else a chance to share their gifts with the group. And my word, did you deliver! (Goosebumps!!) You guys were amazingly generous and brilliant in your offerings to the group!

I curbed embedded thoughts that said I wouldn’t make nearly as much money with this format. And I netted nearly double my normal revenue for a group course. (That’s saying something, folks.)

We had an absolute blast together as many of you wrote several times throughout the course and later on. (In fact, I’m still getting appreciative emails, stories and payments from participants!)

And it led to my realization that you guys need a venue, a way to share your wisdom in a bigger way than this blog allows.

Which leads to my favorite manifestation of 2010: Good Vibe University.

I intend this one is gonna knock all our socks off, in the best ways.

:)

I had other favorites throughout the year, and will share those in the comments, but let’s hear yours first.

What were your favorite manifestations of 2009?

Getting out of a speeding ticket? A compliment from the stingy boss? Did you meet the love of your life? Move into the house or city you’ve been dreaming about?

Let’s hear what creations you loved last year! (And what you’re intending to love in 2010.) Here are a few pasted from early responders’ comments:

Inspiring experience shared by Tiffany:

My favorite manifestation of the year was this deep, intuitive connection I’ve fostered with God and myself! I mean I’ve never felt more connected to the me that’s in the vortex. The excitement for life, courage to imagine my dreams, and undying determination to reach for the best thought I got in 2009 is by FAR the best manifestation.

And from our dear Iyabo:

I manifested some pretty amazing clients in 2009, an amazing business and lifestyle that I cannot wait to get up in the morning and get to, the most awesome “downloads” and “pop-ups” in my lovely brain every day, a surprise trip to New York City to see a Broadway play, a new car, a nice settlement with Uncle Sam. Boy, the more I write, the better it gets!

A fun entry from Leah:

I manifested tons of clients and from YOUR lead, I asked for (and got) great buyers and sellers! I never advertised and never needed to! That was great for a realtors first year. My managing broker took me to the side during the Christmas party to tell me “just keep doing what you are doing, kid. Some of the full time agents didn’t make as much as you… ”

Money poured in and I have already reset my vibration for new clients in 2010…

And thanks to Sherelle for adding to the party with:

I manifested
-a flexible, supportive job.
-more health and confidence to take risks in my career
-a fantastic relationship
-a trip to Mexico and a fun-filled summer
-more time with family

Thanks, ladies! Click on comments for more fabulous manifestations from the Good Vibe community in 2009 …

By popular demand, here is yesterday’s Get What You Want ezine article.

(I rarely post these pieces online, but when my inbox is filled with folks requesting links, asking for permission to repost, and wanting to share comments, I make an exception. Thanks for the love!)

                                * * * * * * * *

It’s true that strong desire and strong belief are essential components to swift manifesting, but is it possible for our desire to become so strong it actually holds up the process?

It’s easy to conclude that’s the case, when seeing that things we want the most also seem to be the things that take the longest to arrive. And things we care about the least get here the quickest.

It’s enough to make any good creator ask, “What the hell?!”

That may have been my client’s question this weekend when I asked her to get her attention OFF of her desire and focus on something – anything – that felt good instead. Because her long-held desire was no longer a friendly topic.

Sometimes we get to the point where our desire is infused with a yearning, frustrated or impatient type energy that clouds the picture.

Anyone else not felt that at some point in time? Where you want something SO BAD you’re ready to shoot daggers at the next person who has it? Or you want to wring the neck of the next LOA guru who says all you have to do is allow it in?

I’ve been there. And that’s how I know that feeling that way does not help. It does not help to want something that bad. Because by the time you get to that state of mind, you’re flowing contrary energy that slows Universe’s delivery of it to a crawl.

This is where it’s helpful to recognize it is possible to hold strong desire for something while still being happy without it. To want something while not needing it to unfold in order to be satisfied. To have a big fat dream way out in front, but at the same time finding complete delight and fulfillment with life as it is now.

That’s what it’s like to want it good. Pure, clean desire; free of doubt, fear, frustration and attachment. It’s the space of enjoying what is, while still having a conscious recognition that what’s coming next will be even more fabulous!

There’s no “pushing against” what is, and very little (if any) time spent noticing it’s not here yet.

Because it doesn’t matter if it comes or not – life is good anyway. There’s no need for it to happen, because we’re not making the realization of the desire conditional upon feeling good. We feel good now!

As shared by Abraham, pure desire feels confident and positive, as in: “I want it, I got it, it’s coming, I know it.”

While yearning sounds like: “I haven’t had it, but I’ve really wanted it, and I’ve done the work, and it hasn’t come yet, but I know it will, I know it will, I know it will, … it hasn’t come yet, I’ve written it down, I’m really getting sick and tired of this, I’ve wanted this my whole life, it’s not fair that he has it …” (One of my all time favorite Abe tracks!)

Wanting something with pure desire feels fresh and light and free and frisky. When you talk about you get a rush that feels good. When you want something you’ve begun to doubt, it feels like work.

When you feel that “work” feeling creeping in, it’s time to remember to want it good, not want it bad.

My favorite way to redirect when I’m wanting it bad?

Remember that there’s plenty going right already. There’s more to enjoy in this present day reality than I could even count. But I’ll start counting anyway just to prove it to myself: strawberries, cats, Bella Foster artwork, chocolate, Christmas lights, Michele Woodward wisdom, warm purple sweatshirts fresh from the dryer, pink sparkly pens, modern plumbing, nice neighbors … get the idea?

When we combine this genuine and strong appreciation for life as it is right now with the pure desire of what’s caught our fancy next, we’re home free.

Continued from the October 20 issue of Get What You Want ezine (if you’re not already signed up, there’s a box in the sidebar to the left as well as here), this question about the role of action in manifesting often comes up for deliberate creators …

We talked about the simple manifesting formula as:

Focus on what you want + Do what feels good = Successful Manifestation

In the “do what feels good” part of the formula, sometimes we’re stumped with:

How do I know what inspired action is?

What if I don’t feel any inspiration at all?

What if I don’t believe just doing what “feels good” will work?

What if my beliefs are contrary to what my inner guidance suggests?

With that, I’m officially opening this post up for discussion around doing what feels good and its role in successfully achieving our goals.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, questions and experiences about the role of action and feeling good in the manifesting process!
