Using Law of Attraction to Win the Lottery

March 15, 2009 | 22 Comments »

Okay, who hasn’t wondered about how to win the lottery with law of attraction?  Or at least been asked by some LOA skeptic why we all haven’t done it?

Here is Abraham’s most excellent answer in a two part video:

Summing up their words: we often think about the lottery like it’s big and rare and unlikely, so it’s easy to be out of alignment to it. They say just get in the vibration of well-being, and Universe will find a variety of ways to deliver the goods.  You must practice the feeling of prosperity before (and in order for) the money to show up.

My favorite part in this second segment is right around minute eight, when Abe sums up the secret to life so beautifully (lay emotional claim to it by feeling it before it’s real):

Summarizing: what does it feel like to win the lottery?  Take it out of future tense, and make the feeling present tense.  Work the kinks out of your vibration: if you want the jackpot to compensate for something you don’t have or feel, that’s misalignment.  That’s the kink.  Also, make sure you’ve got a strong appreciation for really rich people (since you are wanting to become one).

Bashar says that winning the lottery isn’t so much about hoping to pick the right numbers, but rather deciding that you will shift to the reality where your numbers are the winning ones:

Thanks Jeannette, I felt SO great while listening to these videos.

I would like to share a story about winning not the lottery but a competion, even though you already know it from our MasterMind Group forum.

A few weeks ago I decided to participate in a competition here in Denmark about getting free access to a brand new info-marketing product + 1 year of free access to the corresponding Q&A + a free workshop and various additional bonuses – just what I needed to get on with my business. To participate I had to write a comment on a blog within 24 hours describing why I absolutely must have this product, etc.. – The best, most inspiring comment would win.

I couldn’t afford this product but I felt that it was exactly what I needed to get my business in the direction I wanted and I really, really wanted to have it!

So I decided to participate in this competion. No, that’s not true. I actually decided to win!!! And I was quite excited and I knew that I could win. And then I wrote my comment “from my heart”. And I so much enjoyed writing it. And it felt as if I had already gotten it. And I re-read my comment several times afterwards and enjoyed reading it every time! And then I told my sweetie that I had just written the winning comment! And then I went to bed.

The next day I kept visualizing being the winner. And I could feel all the good things this would mean for my business. And I felt that I had already won. And I kept my cell phone in my pocket all day “so that I would hear it when this guy phoned me to tell me I was the winner” – I had so much fun playing this winning game! And all the time I knew I would win. I knew I was in alignment. 44 persons participated. And I won!!!

And I am SO excited and very grateful to have won. But actually I don’t know if the best part is that I won or that all the time I knew I would win :-)

Last week the check engine light in my sweetie’s car was coming on and we could not figure out why. We tried replacing several parts in the hope that it would cure the problem, but the light stayed on. None of the things I replaced was real expensive, but they weren’t cheap either, and we kept buying stuff for the car and the problem persisted.

In the past a situation like this would make me crazy as I “wasted” money on things that didn’t fix the problem. This time, however, I kept repeating to myself with each purchase, “It’s a good thing I’m rich.” Just saying that to myself helped me to feel better about spending money on things that didn’t solve the problem. Instead of getting all upset about “wasting” money I would just laugh and say “well, that didn’t fix it, what’s next?”

Well, about $400 later the car got fixed and I realized that money had flowed into my life at the exact rate it was flowing out to fix the car and the entire situation had not depleted my finances at all.

    It’s a good thing I’m rich.

Pernille, I love that story! And I can completely relate. It’s so funny after a successful manifestation how I’m almost happier about the realization of my own power than I am about the manifestation itself. Maybe that’s something I should start reminding myself of *before* the manifestation. :)

Jeannette – What an amazing video. Leave it to Abraham to get me laughing and crying at the same time. lol Alignment with Source really is the greatest achievement we can reach for because when we realize that we are eternal beings full of light and love, we don’t need anything else. And somehow, that’s when all of these things that we don’t need start showing up. Aaah! :D

I have to admit that I never got into the whole “Abe” thing because I found the books to be a little too esoteric to me. I really enjoyed the videos and got a lot of information from them! Now I can see why there is a lot of Abe-love out there!

  10. elizabeth on March 16, 2009 at 11:32 pm

great video. I’ve only listened to some of the Abe intro recordings on their website thus far so don’t have a lot of knowledge yet. However, now I understand why – now that I am learning to be happy exactly as I am and as life is, even before I am in that place that I thought I needed to get to before I was perfectly happy, I am actually making better progress towards that place. :)

    Thanks Jeannette!

I think this blog is a wonderful answer to the previous post on Blahgggggging! Nice :)

I also had an epiphany at 9 minutes into Vid one when Abe says that ‘source becomes what we are asking for.’

Suddenly I could really see it. We are source energy…we ARE what we ask for. Everything we experience is source…I love it!

    Thank you!!!!

I am not sure if this has anything to do with the Abe videos, but it I wanted to quote Kimora Lee Simmons from her book ‘Fabulosity’, it is so packed with LOA principles. I love to study successful people and see how they are using LOA (unconsciously) to their advantage:

” When things are really, really stressful, this is what I do: I magine the happy ending I want to whatever challenges has got me anxious. I take a few minutes and let the scene unfold in my mind, and let it flow so that it ends with everyone going, : “Oh my God, this is the best thing ever! How did you pull this off! We’re so impressed!” I visualize this happy ending almost like its a movie, and I focus on how relieved and grateful I f e e l that everything worked out fine. Then I write the positive statements from the scene onto a card and stick it where I can see it everyday. If I start thinking I am going to fail or get anxious that a challenge is too big, I turn and look at the card instead and let it rewrite the future with a positive outcome. And invariably, that is what happens because when you start actively imagining positive outcomes, you usually make the decisions that lead to them, without even realizing it. ”

I mean, whether Kimora is your cup of tea or not, you will find out how much LOA she has been using (unconscoisly) to get where she is now. For all LOA savvy people out there, try reading ‘Fabulosity’ by Kimora.

    Much Love, Gillian

I second your recommendation, Gillian, for the book, ‘Fabulosity’ by Kimora Lee Simmons!

You know, one of these days I’m going to read that book cover-to-cover, from-front-to-back. I keep getting distracted by different parts of the book! It’s really good! Kimora Lee goes after things in her life with the attitude that everything is WITHIN her reach, if not already in hand!

    Big Hugs,
    Marquina

  16. Gillian on March 26, 2009 at 8:38 pm

    High Marquina,

Yes, “Fabulosity” truly is a very inspiring book for every woman, whatever her goals may be. It is very helpful for women who has had self esteem issues to gain back their confidence and feel and be completely empowered. What I also like about Kimora is that she does not apologies for her conspicious consumption. Why should she? Everyone has a right to live a good life and its up to each person to determine, how high she wants to reach, because truly the sky is the limit to those, who don’t live with a limited mindset. I think its always very inspiring to study people, who have already reached the top and to find out what their secrets to success is.

Law of attraction is so real as a comparable to when Jesus walked the water and he told Peter to do the same and to keep his focus on him but when he lose focus he couldn’t walk on water. Thats the way I see things. I use law of attraction along all the time. Especially on the lottery and at the casinos. I’m so ready to win the top lottery prize, that I just brought this book called How to win the lottery by K.Silver here’s the website: http://budurl.com/nz83
I can’t wait to read it and try it and apply LOA to it. Will keep you posted.
