How She Manifested a New Job

We have a monthly series at Good Vibe U where we reverse engineer success stories, and this is one of my recent favorites.
Not because she created such dramatic change in her circumstances, but rather dramatic change in her vibration. Which led to a dramatic new experience.
How She Manifested a New JobSee what I mean for yourself as you read T’s story …
(Shared from the GVU forums, with permission.)

I had to share a great little story of flipping the script on myself, without a single physical change in my life.
For the last few weeks, I wasn’t feeling so hot about my job. I was frustrated with the lack of work/life balance. I felt utterly boxed in, totally stuck, and like the team only functioned well because I didn’t do anything aside from working.
I was so deeply in my own contrast that I was actually having crying fits on my drives home! It felt great to release all that frustration, but you know what? It’s so not me to cry about anything except cute dogs and proposal videos.
I talked to my sweetie about it and he gave me some wonderful support. I spoke to my sister and she encouraged me to feel my own power, my own worthiness, how much time I have in my life to pursue other avenues if that’s what’s I chose.
So I started taking action. I opened up my job profile, started applying at other places, and perused a ton of options.
I prepped my new resume and uploaded it everywhere. I made sure that I was good to go.
Then, I kicked my self care into high gear:

  • I took showers with candles and my giant rose quartz.
  • I cleaned my space.
  • I cuddled my tiny little chunky dog.
  • I took naps, walks, and heaps of chocolate.
  • I ate ice cream and kale.
  • I basked in the sun!
  • I did all the things that made me feel like me again.

And this week?
I feel like a totally new person in a totally new job.
My workload has been so light that was able to ride home with my hunky boyfriend last night. I woke up early both yesterday and today and used the extra time to just do whatever I felt like. I painted last night. I haven’t painted in weeks?
And you know what changed?
Not a single thing. Just my energy.
I walked into work feeling LOVE for my coworkers. Real, true love. Not “oh I deal with you because I have to.” But actual love for who they are, how they contribute to my team and my life.
I just want to hug them. I walked into work feeling nostalgic appreciation for my first job. Feeling loving for all the opportunities it provided me. How it unleashed me to build my own life in a town I love with people I adore. I feel love for my CEO, who I respect and feel true admiration for. He truly is a great man and a wonderful leader.
I know it sounds insane, but it wasn’t just a “bad day.” Last week, I knew this job wasn’t for me anymore.
Now? I know without a shadow of a doubt that this job is a perfect match for where I am, what I’m ready for, and what I’d like to do.
So yes, it’s frustrating when Abe and others say all you want is to feel better. It’s also absolutely, beyond a shadow of a doubt true.

Huge kudos to this fellow creator for showing that our external experience is driven by our internal state – and that our internal state is within our power to manage!
If you’d like to hear other inspiring manifesting successes and how they were created, join us for our next “Reverse Engineering Success” call in October. All live calls are open to fellow creators to tune in.

5 Biz "Truths" That Don't Apply to Conscious Creators

Conscious Creators Can Skip These Business RulesWhether we have a traditional job or run our own show as a solopreneur or business owner, we’ve likely heard what’s required to succeed …
We’re supposed to research the market, identify pain points and confirm proven needs. They tell us that the customer is always right, and hustling is required.
You know what? That’s a bunch of crap.
And conscious creators know it.
Because we know where results really come from …
It isn’t from jumping through muggle-made hoops; and it isn’t from a roll of the cosmic dice determining our fate. It’s from our reality-creating habits.
Which is why it’s worth remembering that the “rules” or “truths” commonly expounded in business are optional.
If it feels good to engage these things, then do. If it doesn’t, skip them! You can opt out – and still succeed – if there’s no joy there.
(In fact, if there’s no joy there, these “truths” are more likely to hinder your success than support it.)
So don’t let anyone tell you this stuff is required in order to succeed in work or business:
Myth #1: Know your market.
You don’t have to research the competition or survey your audience about price points or locate your prospects before you proceed. What you choose to create in your business is outside of these muggle constraints. Don’t fall for it! You are unlimited as to what you manifest when you engage your true creative powers.
Myth #2: Find a need and fill it.
They tell us to make sure there is an actual need for what we’re offering before we try to make a living with it. But that’s not how the system works. If you have a desire to offer something, your customers automatically exist. You don’t have to research pain points or survey the marketplace to confirm their existence. If you want customers and believe in them, they’re there. All you have to do is become a vibrational match to receiving them.
Myth #3: Get ready to hustle.
We’ve all heard that there’s no gain without pain, and that failure is imminent if we aren’t willing to work our asses off. But conscious creators know that struggle and sacrifice does not put is in good alignment with our highest success. Inspired action is what we’re much better off engaging rather than overworking ourselves into exhaustion and misalignment.
Myth #4: Make a realistic plan.
Goal setting and business plans are a staple in the professional world, because they believe we can’t hit the target without knowing how we’ll specifically get there. While it’s true that seeing possibilities about how we could achieve success can be empowering (it boosts belief), it can also backfire by closing us off to universal magic. The “hows” are not our job. Our job is to focus solidly on the “what” and allow the best path there to reveal itself.
Myth #5: Know your numbers.
They say if we don’t have the right measurements in place we are at a loss to control what we create. But everyone has likely felt the disempowerment of taking score too soon. And it’s the vibration that matters more than the numbers. Get a good vibration going and you’ll get good numbers to follow. (If/when you feel like looking at the numbers.)
And don’t even get me started on the ridiculousness of unique selling propositions, or 30 second elevator speeches, or essential social media tactics, or policy and procedure docs, or personal branding benefits, or catering to customer needs, etc.
Because you don’t need me to tell you what rules you can ignore. That’s what your inner guidance is for.
When something doesn’t feel fab, that means it’s not for you. There’s either a better perspective to see the situation from or it’s just simply not part of your path.
This actually goes both ways, though …
Sometimes there IS a traditional truth that feels very good to honor. So don’t dismiss everything just because muggles quote the importance of doing it.
Trust your higher wisdom within and let that be the truth you follow.

LOA Tip from Foo Fighters Dave Grohl

Dave Grohl knows how to manifest success

The other night when Anderson Cooper interviewed Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl we learned the key to Dave’s success:

He loves what he does.

Phrases used to describe his work include:

  • exceeded all expectations
  • massive success
  • catapulting to worldwide stardom
  • staple of rock music

Get a load of this excerpt from his wiki page:

“Between October 2002 and March 2003 Grohl was in the number one spot on the Modern Rock charts for 17 of 18 successive weeks, as a member of three different groups.”

Wowza. That’s a guy who’s got a handle on success.

But in his 60 Minutes interview Dave said he didn’t do any of his work for the fame or fortune. He simply did it for the love of playing music.

Conscious creators who are looking to manifest rewards for their work can learn a thing or two from Dave’s example.

In fact, spiritual teacher Teal Swan said in her Salt Lake workshop earlier this month that “We experience abundance in direct proportion to the amount that we love what we do.”

Meaning, if you want more money, prioritize your joy.

That’s something Dave’s apparently tapped into from the beginning – the joy of making music.

When Anderson asked about his success (pointing out that money has never been Dave’s motivation), here’s how Dave responded:

The reward of playing music should be playing music.

That’s the way I felt before any of this happened.

I wasn’t doing it so this [huge success] would happen. I was doing it because I loved it.

The love of playing should always be the heart of music.

That hit home since I sometimes see coaches and other business owners creating something in order to get the payday.

In the process of manifesting the financial rewards, they sometimes lose track of why they engaged this work in the first place.

Abundance follows Joy

I’ve done it myself, so I know how easy it is.

Yes, money matters. We (believe we) have to make a living.

But that is much easier (and more successfully) accomplished when we stay connected to the love of our work. That is, when we let the work be its own reward.

You’ll find another LOA tidbit in that interview if you tune in, but in the meantime, here’s to engaging our work for the enjoyment of it.

Leading with love, joy and passion is bound to bring other rewards on its heels.

When It's Time to Manifest Clients

How to Manifest ClientsIs it time to get some clients?
Conscious creators know the traditional advice business owners get for acquiring customers isn’t necessarily the most effective approach.
Instead of leading with action-based strategies (like tweaking sales pages, networking for leads, adjusting prices, launching promotions, etc.) that doesn’t account for energy or focus, deliberate creators look to a vibrational strategy.
Because getting customers isn’t about having the best website, most attractive rates, best testimonials  or most extensive experience.
(Technically you could be doing all of those things and still be vibrating “no clients” instead of “clients.”)
Getting clients is done by activating the vibration of clients.
Which puts every entrepreneur on a level playing field, no matter the status of your business or sales process. (Well, the advantage goes to those who know how to work the vibe.)
So how do we do that?
First of all, we stop focusing on not having clients. The more we fret and worry about not having enough customers, the more we repel potential business.
Second, we think the thoughts and see the images and feel the feelings of having clients. Whether you fantasize, journal, affirm, script, use a vision board, or even just notice someone else’s experience of getting clients – find a way to start seeing, thinking and feeling clients.
(In fact, here are a couple of vibration activations that might get your juices flowing: activate new clients; business success by Stella and sold out offers by me.)
You can create your own client attraction strategy by playing with your favorite processes for activating the client vibration.
I’ve done it a variety of ways over the years, and found all of it works as long as it shifts your attention from “needing clients” to “loving my new clients.”
What we vibrate is what we get. So when you find a way to tune into “tons of perfect clients showing up in droves” (or whatever you choose to create) that’s what becomes true.
The quickest path to getting clients is that you don’t wait for them to appear before you start seeing, thinking, feeling and enjoying them.

What Is Vibrational Marketing?

Vibrational MarketingWhat exactly is vibrational marketing?
For enquiring business minds who want to know…
Vibrational marketing is engaging the power of energetic alignment to create the results you want in your business –

  • to draw in perfect clients
  • to launch successful campaigns
  • to make a lucrative living selling your inventory or services
  • to impact the world the way you dream about.

By focusing your attention in a way that lines you up with your desire, your successful results are more reliable than relying on traditional action-oriented marketing methods alone.
Instead of relying on typical selling tactics like strategic pricing, promotion, messaging, packaging, etc., vibrational marketing is about activating the energetic frequencies that allow your highest business success to unfold.
Kryon has said that leveraging high-minded conscious thinking is our true high technology. Gregg Braden says this stuff isn’t magic or miracles – it’s just the technology we were each born with.
And for many entrepreneurs, it’s a whole new way of doing business.
Abraham-Hicks coined the term “vibrational marketing” back in 2009, and has talked about it with conscious creators over the years to leverage law of attraction in our marketing efforts. Here are some of those excerpts …
For the photographer who wants to sell more of his art:

It’s not your display; it’s not your presentation; it’s the way you feel.
It has nothing to do with anything other than your vibrational broadcast. You are the broadcaster of your signal to which law of attraction is bringing matches.
What’s your signal? Is it, “My stuff doesn’t sell,” or is it, “I am one who loves what I’m creating”? When you are a radiator of love [for what you’re offering], the crowd will gather.

From the guy ready to use law of attraction savvy marketing:

The question is are you a cooperative component or not, because your clients already are. You’re applying the majority of your marketing tactics from your place of awareness of what’s not working – which holds you apart from what’s working. Your people are already there.
What you want is already done. You’re not in the process of creating it now – it’s already been created. The marketing campaign that you are launching is not to attract the millions to your product; they’ve already been attracted. The marketing campaign you are launching it so attract you there.
And the way you do that is by talking about the beauty of it, talking about how wondrous it is, talking about how good it feels, lining up with it, pretending it’s already done.
You’ve been the missing piece because you’ve had a flawed premise that said I can act my way there rather than vibrate my way there.
Vibrational marketing enlists law of attraction to summon them to what you’re offering.
These are the prerequisites for you doing really well with your offering: you must adore it yourself, and you must believe completely in the value of it and the benefit to others. When you’re there, then those who are looking for the benefit it offers will flock to it.
From someone who mentors others to success:

What you have to say them is that, “What I do from where I’m vibrating, even if you do exactly the same thing that I did (but you do it from your place of fear or worry), you’ll get different results than I did even if you do exactly the same thing.”
Because it’s not what we do, it’s how we vibe. It’s about how we feel. It’s about the goodness we let in. And you can’t let goodness in through your action, but you can through your vibration.

Abraham on sales and marketing:

Most people apply their most determined sales techniques from outside the vortex. (“If you don’t do this, this will happen.”)
If you hold the vision of them benefiting from what you’re offering, you are more influential than millions who don’t have that.
The first thing you’ve got to do is get in the vortex and see the value of what you’re offering to them.
The essence of Abe’s message is to love it yourself (whatever you’re offering), and see others benefiting from it.
Vibrational marketing is arguably the most important (yet underrated) business skill an entrepreneur could learn.

50 Ways to Get a Customer

LOA Marketing SongReprinted from the LOA coach blog at Good Vibe Coach Academy, here’s a little marketing fun with 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover Get a Customer.
We know how powerful songs can be to reinforce thoughts!
And some of these thoughts can be helpful for your business, so if you’re an LOA savvy business owner, listen to Paul Simon’s original tune below …
50 Ways to Leave Your Lover on YouTube
… and then swap out words as follows to enjoy my light hearted LOA Marketing Song:

The problem is all inside your head
She said to me
The answer is easy if you
Shift the energy
I’d like to help you in your struggle
To be free
There must be fifty ways
To get a customer

She said it’s really not my habit
To intrude
Furthermore, I hope my meaning
Won’t be lost or misconstrued
But I’ll repeat myself
At the risk of being crude
There must be fifty ways
To get a customer
Fifty ways to get a customer

You just give up the lack, Jack
Make a fun plan, Stan
Plug in the joy, Roy
Just get yourself free
Stop all your fuss, Gus
You don’t need to discuss much
Use an LOA key, Lee
And get yourself free

She said it grieves me so
To see you in such pain
I wish there was something I could do
To make you smile again
I said I appreciate that
And would you please explain
About the fifty ways …

She said why don’t we both
Just sleep on it tonight
And I believe in the morning
You’ll begin to see the light
Then she waved at me
And I realized she probably was right
There must be fifty ways
To get a customer
Fifty ways to get a customer

Love what you do, Sue
Promote a new sale, Dale
It’s ok for it to be fun, hon
Just get yourself free
Do what you can, Anne
There don’t have to be hard parts
Just think how it’ll feel, Neil
And get yourself free

Give it your best, Tess
Use your own flair, Clare
Don’t undersell, Belle
Just listen to me
Try acting as if, Tiff
Keep your eyes on the prize, guys
Do a free call, Paul
And get yourself free

Sing a new tune, June
Ignore the rules, Jules
Focus on a big wish, Trish
To get yourself free
Turn a new rock, Brock
You don’t need to discuss much
Just find your bliss, Chris
And get yourself free

Make a new friend, Jen
Be a joy sleuth, Ruth
Let go your woes, Rose
Just listen to me
Don’t rely on will, Lil
Make lots of space, Grace
Your heart will say when, Gwen
To get yourself free

Tell a new story, Rory
Let inspiration unfurl, Pearl
Find those most keen, Jean
Just get yourself free
LOA is the key, Lee
You don’t need to discuss much
You’re not outta luck, Chuck
To get yourself free

Don’t have to feign, Shane
You’re not a big dope, Hope
Remember it’s your fate, Kate
Just listen to me
You’ve got it made, Jade
You don’t need to discuss much
Don’t sweat those bills, Jill
And get yourself free

Get a new referral, Verrall
Follow your best whim, Kim
Vision it smart, Bart
To get yourself free
You’re not doin too bad, Chad
You don’t need to discuss much
Wear your sparkle pants, Chance
And get yourself free

Drop all the ughs, Doug
Vision your perfect person, Thurston
Give your wallet a big kiss, Chris
Are you listenin’ to me?
Doubters just ignore, Lenore
Give ‘em a big hint, Clint
Don’t let ‘em forget, Jeannette
To get yourself free

(Remember: when you’re having fun and making a point of feeling good, you’re in highest service to your business!)

Creating Multiple Revenue Streams??

Next weekend is the Martha Beck coach convention in Keystone, Colorado, which I won’t be speaking at for reasons worthy of an LOA discussion.
You regular readers know that deliberate creation is my professional passion.
It’s what gets me excited about “work” and leveraging the law of attraction is how I’ve created success: by paying attention to how things feel and learning to manage energy in a way that lines me up for what I want.
So when Martha’s group asked me to speak on how coaches can create multiple revenue streams, I was thrilled!  Who wouldn’t want multiple income streams?!
(Indeed, it was a topic I suggested they cover, since I see many coaches struggling as they rely solely on private client coaching income.)
But a potential scheduling conflict prevented me from confirming right away that I was available.
As I thought about it more, I realized I couldn’t deliver the presentation they wanted.
Because what they wanted wasn’t anything I knew how to do.  At least, not in the way most people think about it.
Meaning, I couldn’t instruct people on what actions to take to make multiple income streams happen for their business.
I don’t know what those actions are! And even if I did, I’m smart enough to know it’s not the actions that make the difference.

Even though I have several revenue sources, I don’t know how people who don’t use LOA make that happen.  I’ve no clue!

My experience in creating multiple money in-flows is this simple: “Do what feels good.”
And Martha Beck didn’t ask me for an LOA presentation on creating multiple income streams.  Yet there isn’t any other way I could talk about it.
Because that’s exactly how it came together for me: feeling good along with an intention for big fat fun easy cash is how Universe hooked me up with all of it.
“Go have fun, let Universe connect the dots.”  I don’t know how well that would land with a non-LOA audience.  hee hee
Here’s what I did:

  • I leveraged law of attraction to draw in perfect clients for one-on-one coaching income;
  • a client practically insisted on publishing pray rain journaling for me to create my first product income (I’m still in huge love with him for that);
  • every single corporate gig I got was from them approaching me (either they read my newsletter or blog, heard about me from a friend, or saw me present at another gig);
  • each and every speaking presentation I’ve had was from simply saying yes when someone asked if I was willing;
  • it was at one of those speaking gigs that the editor of one of the most sought after publications in town asked if I wanted to write for them (you mean I would get paid to write about LOA for you?!  Uh … yes!!!)
  • those folks whose products I was already recommending sent me completely unexpected money for it (getting checks from “out of the blue” from Mike Dooley is super cool);
  • my own readers were recommending my stuff to their friends long before I had a formal affiliate program in place.

I didn’t “make any of that happen.”  I don’t know where normal people go to get corporate coaching gigs – I went to Universe.
I don’t know how to properly run or participate in an affiliate program – I just do what feels good and money comes from it.
How do you get paid speaking gigs?  Don’t ask me, I just said “yes” when asked.  How did I get Catalyst to publish my stuff?  Simple answer: I turned it in after they asked for it.

I just did my thing, purposely having a good time, paying attention to (and following) what felt good, and it all came together.

That’s my presentation on how to grow multiple income streams. Decide you want it, do what feels good and follow inspiration.  Don’t sweat the “hows” or get caught up in figuring it out yourself.
It’s a short talk.  And a highly effective practice.
You can apply it to anything you want, in fact.  Relationships, jobs, new places to live, whatever else you can think of that you want.
Action is highly overrated for making things happen to get what we want.  The more effective approach is vibration management.
And I’ll give that talk any day.
