Y’all know I’m a superfan of pray rain journaling. It’s what I use when it really counts.
And many could argue that visualizing is the most effective way to give Universe new instructions for our reality.
And how about acting as if it’s already done? That’s a big vibration to send!
But I’m going to suggest there is another way to get our vibe in alignment with what we want better than any other …
… that is to Amp It Up.
This one’s from Abraham – I don’t know what they call it, but I call it Amp It Up.
It’s a written exercise and has three parts:
It doesn’t matter how many reasons you list. (You’re supposed to stop as soon as you find yourself stretching to think of another reason.)
Those are the two key elements to successful manifesting.
When we have strong desire and strong belief in place we are unstoppable. The alignment to what we want is so strong that it has to happen.
So maybe give your latest manifesting project a boost by putting pen to paper about what you want, why you want it, and why you believe you can have it.
It’ll do good things for your vibration!
Side note for those who think they don’t have anything for the “belief” list … at the top of every one of my lists goes this item:
“I know how the system works, and I’m working it right now.” (Just by doing this exercise.)
That’s reason enough to believe that my desire will manifest.
Once I have my list written out, I usually keep it on my desk to re-read a couple more times throughout the week, although sometimes it feels even more aligning to re-write it from scratch.
Play with it yourself as inspired. 🙂
Have fun with it and keep me posted of your success!
Want some easy ways to put law of attraction magic in your daily life?
Here are five ways to get the energy flowing your way without lifting a conscious creation finger:
Change your password; change your life.
Yes, a password really is that powerful.
Or it can be, when you use the right ones. Read here for Mauricio’s inspiration about password manifesting.
Turn one of life’s hassles into an alignment boon by making your password a powerful affirmation of success.
Manifesting money? Ask yourself what you’ll say when you log in to see a very satisfying bank balance, and turn that phrase into a password:
Attracting new love? Get in alignment with LuckyN<3.
Or maybe you’re calling in a rockin’ summer body … try it afformation style: “HowDidIGetSoGorgeous?!”
Whatever you’re creating, incorporate some alignment magic by creating a password that reflects your success. Each time you type it you acclimate more and more to that reality.
2. Screensavers, Backgrounds & Wallpapers
If you’re like most manifestors, your vision board is either nonexistent, outdated, or buried in the back of a closet.
But you can let your eyes feast on your desired results by putting your digital screens to work.
Whether it’s a phone, a tablet, a laptop, desktop or some other doohickey, you’re likely looking at some sort of electronic device every day, throughout the day. Let’s harness that un-leveraged viewing time, shall we?
Make your screensaver something that you’d like to see in real life. It’s amazing how well that works.
3. Ringtones & Notifications
If you don’t already have an audio alert programmed that makes you smile or gives you a happy ear worm, let’s change that.
Receiving a call or getting a text alert is an easy opportunity to give yourself a little vibrational boost!
You could find a song that has significance to your current manifesting project, or anything that makes you feel good.
Programming your digital alerts is too good an opportunity to pass up! Switch as needed over time to keep the vibes high every time you get an incoming call, email or text.
4. Mirror Messages
How often do you wash your hands or brush your teeth in front of that mirror?
Every occasion is a gem of a chance to amp up your vibe by posting a sticky note or writing a dry erase question on the mirror.
“Hey good lookin’!” and “Who do you love?” are my personal favorites, but experiment to find one that boosts your frequency each time you see it.
Mirror messages are easy ways to get the law of attraction working on your behalf by programming positive thoughts within.
If you haven’t already read about Dr. Emoto’s work with messages placed on water, do that.
Then get out a marker to write your favorite words on your water bottle or coffee mug.
Whatever energy you’d like to fill yourself with, write it on your beverage container. Love, peace, happiness, great sex – whatever you like, you can get into alignment by infusing it in your drink of choice.
It’s an easy way to get double duty from your daily beverage.
We habitually ask each other, “How are you?” and “How’s it going?” but a more powerful question steers the conversation to higher vibrational territory.
Instead of asking how they are, inquire about “What’s going right?” or “What’s the good news?”
With friends and family who know me, I answer the phone with, “Tell me the good news.” It’s a guided instruction to tune to higher vibes as our conversation begins.
In fact, even when some asks how you are, you can pretend they asked what’s going right in your world and answer accordingly.
It’s an easy way to lift the vibe of everyone in earshot!
Those are just six ways to automate yourself into higher alignment …
What are your easy daily habits to get law of attraction working in your favor without lifting a finger?
I’m a huge fan of not taking things too seriously.
“Serious” isn’t usually a vibe that delivers me delightful things.
And anyyone who’s read Slacker Manifesting knows I’m a proponent of not trying too hard.
Sometimes giving up is exactly what calls in the big magic!
Case in point: the other day a coach texted a note of encouragement for a big project on my plate. “You can do it!” she enthused …
When in fact I was trying not to do it. I could feel myself slipping into “anxious obsessing overworking it” territory, and knew that carefree, easy and light was the way to go on that one.
Letting go is often the best way to allow the dream to unfold.
But there are other times when the way to alignment calls for a more militant approach.
Like when gremlins are out of control and having their way with me, sometimes I have to get my Alpha on and put a stop to that once and for all.
That’s when I lay down the rules about what I’m allowed to think and what is 100% absolutely off limits.
The same way you promise yourself you’re not going to even consider sleeping with that guy again. You’re done!
Or how you’re never ever going to let the stylist talk you into something “just for a change” again. Lesson learned!
It reminds me how I had to get serious with myself when I quit my job to start a coaching practice, with no clients in sight.
My auto-loop thoughts went like this: “Uh oh. This isn’t going to work. You’re going to have to get a job.”
Those thoughts are simply unacceptable for a girl who doesn’t want a job.
Because that is not an instruction that gives Universe any room to deliver me what I want.
So I got strict with myself, and every time I felt that loop starting to play again, I’d put a stop to it: “No. That’s not what I’m creating.” (Spoken in a voice that means business.) “What I’m creating is ‘I’m a brilliant coach in high demand.'”
No wiggle room.
No ifs ands or buts.
Here’s how it is for me.
And then I give Universe a strong sentence or two as confidently and authoritarian as I can conjure.
Because some things are simply not optional.
(It helps if you’ve had an unruly dog or child or hubby so you’ve had good practice at your “I mean it” voice.)
If you’ve got a little somethin’ somethin’ you’re working on that isn’t coming to fruition the way you’d like, maybe it’s time to rein those gremlin thoughts in like a boss. Say what you want like you mean it, eliminating any room for other options.
It’s not the approach I use all the time, but every once in a while, it does the trick.
We can think of life in terms of what’s happened; as in where we came from, what we’ve experienced, what we had hoped for, where things went wrong, who disappointed us, etc.
You might know that routine.
(I sure do.)
A lot of folks invest significant amounts of time in that sort of past tense living.
Or we can dwell on what’s happening right now – a focus on the reality we see in front of us in our present state of being.
That serves us well when we like what is. When we don’t like it, though, it’s a big groundhog day trap.
So when “what is” isn’t what we want, and when the past doesn’t have a path to the future we dream of, that’s when it’s time for a different perspective …
… the perspective that can actually take us where we want to go.
I call that the preferred tense.
That’s when we let our focus linger on what we’d like next.
Which is actually how we get there – by letting our attention dwell on that version of possibility.
Since we go wherever we’re focused, conscious creators know this is an empowering choice.
For example, I could ruminate (okay, this is not hypothetical – I have done this) on what went wrong in my last relationship … who did what to whom and who was justified and who was “wrong.”
That sort of thinking locks me into a vibration that’s a dead end trail. At least, it doesn’t take me anywhere good.
Or I could get fixated on what is; noticing again and again what’s true in my present day life and judging it as good or not.
But as a conscious creator, I also have the option of pre-enjoying the love I prefer. I can entertain thoughts of what that relationship is like, and how good it feels to experience it.
I can imagine what I desire to experience.
That’s preferred tense living.
And that focus makes all the difference in what unfolds next.
In fact, I did this recently with a little knee injury.
After taking a spill on the ice, and feeling growing alarm at what damage had been done, I found myself replaying that spill over and over. It was just my feeble attempt to understand what happened, but the fact is that constant mental replay was programming my body for problems.
Then when I noticed myself lingering on thoughts of how much pain I was in, I knew that present tense “what is” focus was delaying the healing process.
So I changed my mind.
I engaged the preferred tense – where all was well with my physical self and I was feeling fabulous in all ways.
Sure enough, I woke up the next morning feeling like a new girl, with only a slight ache to remind me of that close call from before.
That’s because I knew better than to keep re-playing the past, or to dwell on the present circumstances, and instead stuck to the preferred tense of feeling fine.
I share that so the next time you’re wondering what might juice up your manifesting results, you can reflect on what tense your attention is engaging.
In this time where it can be easy to get caught up in the turmoil of public fights and frustrations, it seems an especially good time to ask what tense you’re engaging.
If the past or present focus feels anything other than fabulous, you’re looking at a prime opportunity to become a better match to your desired outcome by choosing the preferred tense.
What makes you so good at this manifesting stuff?
Do you know what you’re exceptionally good at when it comes to conscious creation?
If not, I suggest it’s time to claim your area of expertise.
Because once you know what you’re good at (or even decide what you’ll be good at), you not only enhance your LOA skills but you also give Universe the instruction that says “I’m good at this.”
That is a good vibration to offer.
Whatever we know about ourselves becomes true. Which is why knowing what we’re good at is an empowering thing.
I talk to people every day who see their shortcomings more clearly than their gifts. They can list a dozen muggle habits that hold them back from their manifesting success, but pause when I ask what their manifesting strengths are.
Even if we were only good at one thing, that’s all it takes to rock this LOA party. We don’t have to be good at everything (visualizing, storytelling, allowing, etc.) in order to get what we want.
Just one thing is enough to open your door to delightful results.
When you know (or even just decide) what you’re good at, you set yourself up for even better success. (Because seeing yourself as a gifted creator helps make it so.)
So let’s hear it, what are you good at …?
(And let’s leave off the list anything about enduring tons of contrast, although one could argue that is a benefit.)
There are many other skills you could be rocking: self-love, taking inspired action, appreciating what is, leveraging affirmations, etc.
I know someone who excels at claiming miracles. “It was a miracle!” she’ll decide in advance of its unfolding. Works like a charm for her!
I personally am really good at claiming an audacious goal and sticking to the story no matter how ridiculous it is. Daring to choose something big, and giving Universe a consistent enough instruction to deliver on it – that’s my forte.
But being good at something doesn’t make a whit of difference if we aren’t putting that skill into practice.
Even the newbiest of newbie creators will manifest circles a skilled creator who isn’t doing her thing.
So know what party you rock, and get to it. Put those gifts into play and let life get even more amazing than it already is.
