Crystals and the Law of Attraction

Have you ever wondered whether crystals can help with your law of attraction success?

For those of us who love everything woo-woo, here’s all you need to know about incorporating the earth’s gemstones to enhance manifesting magic:

(ok, maybe not all, but it’s a start!)

What Are Crystals?

Are they just pretty rocks, or do they convey creative magic?

Like everything on the planet, crystals have consciousness. They formed in the earth over time (some are over 4 billion years old!) and each type of gemstone has its own particular energetic frequency.

Many believe crystals aid in earth’s evolution and raise our consciousness. Judy Hall writes that “crystals are the earth’s DNA, a chemical imprint for evolution.” (I like that thought!)

The vibrational energy of the crystal is what a conscious creator is working with when they include gemstones in their manifesting work.

How Gemstones Aid Manifesting

Crystals have been called a “magic technology” since they serve as transmitters, receivers, and magnifiers of energy.

Some creators like to program their desires into a crystal and let it do the attraction work of manifesting 3D results.

Others use crystals to help clear themselves of negative energies in order to enhance vibrational alignment.

Teal Swan shares that a crystal’s energy patterns are incorruptible, which is why we entrain energetically to it when working with them. (Like a tuning fork, of sorts.)

I play with them because it’s fun and I like it. 🙂
How To Work With Crystals

What Stones To Use

All of them, I say! All of them!

Okay, if you’re not a crystal addict like me, you can actually be selective about which ones to play with to expand your results with law of attraction.

You’ll find lots of sites and books outlining in great detail the specialized purpose of various crystals.

Those guides will tell you which crystals to use for what; i.e. rose quartz for manifesting love, citrine for abundance, merlinite for mystical experiences, etc.

I did that for years but now prefer to let the crystals guide the way. (Sort of like putting the dream interpretation book aside and finding my own answers.) Or you can let your intuition tell you based on what you feel drawn toward.

Working with crystals is a great time to practice trusting your inner guidance.

How To Use Crystals (Programming & Cleansing)

I used to be mystified about how to engage the magic of crystals until learning we don’t actually have to do anything … crystals know what to do for you. They show up in your life for a reason, and don’t need your direction.

Just let them do their magic!

I like that approach, although just this week (at the summer solstice full moon) I used a couple of pyrite crystals in an intention ritual for financial success and within 24 hours received a surprise financial windfall in the thousands.

So trust your guidance on what approach feels best to you.

If you’re going to program a crystal with an intention, it’s basically a matter of focusing your desired outcome or intention onto the crystal and letting it do the attraction as your universal agent. Learn more here if you want to go that route.
Manifesting with Crystals

I have two twin septarian geodes (estimated 70 million years old!) in the kitchen. One is programmed/named “For Fun” and the other

“ForEver” that remind me every time I pass by to lighten up and not rush through life.

They serve as energetic assistants to be present and have a good time. Great friends to have, right?!

You can play with crystals in all sorts of ways:

  • Placed under your pillow or bed
  • In a healing grid
  • Worn as jewelry
  • Carried in your pocket
  • Stored in your purse or car
  • To charge your water
  • In meditation
  • For space clearing
  • Programmed with intentions for specific manifestations

– or however else you feel inspired to engage them.

Those who work with gemstones regularly will tell you that most of them do require a regular energetic cleanse. Whether in moonlight, sunlight, water, smudging, salt, etc. you’ll want to research your crystal to make sure you don’t damage it via your cleaning method. (Says the girl who learned that the hard way.)

Crystals can help you heal, clear internal negativity, support your spiritual growth, aid in psychic or physical protection, open you to new ideas and insights, even help plants and gardens thrive.

But it’s important to remember that you are the conscious creator, so don’t hand off your power to crystals. (Or any tool, for that matter.)

Gemstones can be incredibly delightful partners in your expansion, but it’s best to think of them as aids rather than replacements for the power we have as manifestors.

Above all, my experience with crystals is that they’re super fun and exceptionally intriguing. So of course those good vibes just bring more good things. 🙂

If you’ve got tips, stories or resources to share, we’d love to hear them in the comments.

Hi….Just wanted to mention how much Rose Quartz has really impacted my life so far…This quartz has a amazing calmness and love that I am truly blessed to wear it as a piece of jewelry.

  • I love the idea of programming desires into a crystal, thank you for sharing this Law of Attraction application. Crystals and gemstones are beautiful, gifts of nature

  • Jo says:

Same here i too love crystals. And qaurtz, 👍 budda beads and incence sticks mystical music too, love it all sooo much,

  • Janette says:

As you know, Jeannette, two months ago I (somehow…. little birdies might say I scripted it …. LOL) – I triggered the Epic Cleanout of 2016 and a shift of all things 1st, 4th, 7th and 10th houses.
During the ECof2016 I looked at all the crystals I’ve collected over the years, and they were no longer a match.
I’m possibly keeping three. Still not convinced. The rest have already gone as donations.
Hubby and I move into a new place sometime in the next two weeks. That is calling for brand new crystals, and I’m SO excited to find out what calls to me!

  • Myrna says:

A few years ago my very good friend gave me a pretty quartz crystal hand made/wrapped in gold wire. I went through a rough patch recently, and finally found it after looking for it for months. I kid you not, it first got a black spot. Then a couple days later it grew it little crystal right in the middle to the left side of the gold wire wrapped heart. I went to lunch, showed my husband. Mind you I looked on the back when I noticed the black in the front and though to myself, if there had been a black spot on the crystal I know she would have put it on the back side which was perfectly clear and smooth. I got back from lunch and was researching away, I looked at it again and now the back side and it had a chunk missing and a growth from within. The two in the front had grown from the surface more. I’ve already told my friend that I need to go raid her jewels to make some more jewelry for me.

    • Jeannette says:

Myrna, Ming mentioned on the crystal call she did yesterday at GVU how sometimes crystals change! I’d never heard of that before, but your experience confirms they can continue to change, I guess. Very cool!

  • Sandi says:

I think I will give this a try just for fun Jeannette is your money crystal an Amethyst?

  • Alicia says:

Does this work? I mean really. I am so low right now, homeless, living out of van, sent my kids to stay with my sister out of state until I can figure things ot….still have my job…but I was working two…and my husband lost his a while back due to major medical issues…so I’m desperate.

    • Jeannette says:

Alicia, I think what happened for me in the financial windfall manifestation I mentioned is that the crystal amplified the vibration I was already flowing. So I wouldn’t necessarily expect the same results if I had sat down to do that ritual with “desperation” flowing. Know what I mean?

    • Rebecca says:

Hi Alicia, I read your post and just wanted to let you know I will pray and make a crystal grid for you and send you good energies. I know what’s it’s like to have hopelessness and desperation. Whenever I’ve gone through tough times, I recall a saying, “Nothing stays the same” So true really- Your situation too is temporary and you will surely get out of it. Just thank the universe, you have a job and you have a sister who has opened her door for your kids. Do this below every day for the next 7 days,-pretend, feel, write down or type up on paper and then look at it= stating- “I’m so happy it all worked out, I love my new job, I love our new house, my husband is happy, healthy and has a job close by, my kids are happy and doing well”. Thank you god, thank you angels, thank you universe for taking care of us. Now LET GO. Know that it is now in the hands of the universe who is already working on it. God Bless you.

  • Renae says:

Ah, crystals are fun! I have a moonstone that I often keep under my pillow. I believe it helps assist me in lucid dreaming, which I have been successfully achieving myself now! You will feel when you can use the help of a crystal, sometimes my intuition tells me to stand alone for a while. They are very powerful really. But I have been weaving them in hemp as of lately! Super fun!
Sometimes when I’m having a low feeling day, my amethyst works wonders. But, like you, I love using all of them! They help that positive vibration come back when you’re feeling under the weather. It’s nice to have little tools like crystals to play with!

    • Jeannette says:

Weaving them in hemp?! That sounds so interesting, Renae!!
And I agree with you, it’s so nice to have crystals as part of the fun ways to play with alignment and energy. 🙂

  • Karen says:

I confess, I, too, am a crystal junkie. I have a deliciously gorgeous clear point mined in the Sierra Nevada mts that tagged along to the office with me today. Two of the three immediate managers also love crystals. One oohed and ahhed over mine. At times I do use specific crystals for specific intentions (I have abundance grids all over the place at home) but what really feels best to me is just working with whatever stone calls me to it, or calls to me at any given time, like this one did today. As for cleansing, I tend to use my Tibetan singing bowl or a tuning fork.

    • Jeannette says:

I love that we have that in common, Karen. 🙂
And I love that you have co-workers that also appreciate crystals! Omgosh, I can imagine how much different my work environment could have been had I brought crystal magic to bear there! 🙂
I’ve never used a grid before, but I’m starting to feel a call to explore it. Thanks for posting, Karen.

  • Ming says:

Ha, Jeannette now we are talking the same language here. I love crystals as well. I do believe they have helped me manifest a lot of abundance as well. I look forward to our call in GVU tomorrow !

  • I am a believer of the power of crystals, attracting good energy. I actually have a set of stones in my bracelet but then again, we also have yo be focused at our goals and make sure that we have the confidence ad the will to achieve success.

  • says:

I’m off to stick my bit of rose quartz under my bed. It’s place has been stuck in my bra along with a load of other crystals so I am quite relieved to make some room 🙂

  • Reeya says:

I love this and what it symbolizes. It means alot to me. I can’t wait to come across the first one that’s meant for me, soon.
    Thanks for posting Jeannette!

  • Parul says:

I have a tiny disc-shaped rose quartz, now I’m getting inspired to get some more! 🙂

  • Elaine Enlightening says:

Great article! This was perfect timing for me. Where do you recommend buying crystals? I live in rural Missouri and there aren’t a lot of stores with crystals here. Do you have a good online store you know of? Thank you!

  • Parul says:

A great post! Thanks for the awesome tips! 🙂
