Get Ready to Celebrate!

Can we manifest a reason to celebrate?

Of course! All we have to do is prep for it …

Growing up, the tradition at our house every New Year’s Eve was to have banana splits with mom as we waited for midnight.

It was a big treat for us kids! We looked forward to it so much that to this day just seeing the banana boat dishes at the top of the cupboard makes me smile.

Maybe you have a special celebration tradition or habit, too?

The reason I ask is because we can manifest more reasons to celebrate when we cue Universe that we expect and are ready for it.

  • So keep that bottle of champagne chilled in the fridge.
  • Get that party dress dry cleaned and ready to go.
  • Stock up on dessert ingredients – or whatever you do to acknowledge happy news.

Every time you see the bottle in the fridge or the dessert ingredients in the pantry you’ll be reminded that the celebration is coming.

(You might not know what that good news is yet, but that just makes it even more fun! Because we know the power of not knowing.)

Your celebration doesn’t have to be time consuming, expensive, or a big deal.

Sometimes the smallest cues are the most powerful way to signal Universe (and yourself) that good times are coming …

Like how dad’s favorite dessert is mom’s homemade cheesecake. That’s what she makes every year for his birthday.

So when I spy a cheesecake in their fridge, I’ll exclaim, “What’s the special occasion?!”

Because everyone knows homemade cheesecake means something special is afoot.

At least, everyone in my family knows it.

You probably have different celebration prompts.

Discovering what yours are and putting them into play tells Universe (and yourself) that happy things are in store.

So whether it’s a special food, drink, activity – or however you recognize that something amazing is unfolding, I’m suggesting you manifest more fabulous things by getting ready for it now.

  • Mark the calendar for going to your favorite special occasion restaurant.
  • Get that new piece of jewelry in your etsy cart.
  • Store your favorite gourmet chocolate front and center in the pantry.

A conscious creator might even take this a step further and find real life reasons to engage those celebration rituals we have at the ready.

Like payday! That’s worth celebrating, right?!

Or finishing a full house cleaning in one Saturday. That deserves a big woo hoo!

Or getting through a challenging conversation with grace and ease. (I’d count it!)

You can find good things to celebrate wherever you look, and that just tells Universe that this is how you roll. Good things go your way regularly. So much so, you maybe buy champagne by the box, not the bottle.

Nice signal to send, right?

So my invitation to you is to get ready to celebrate something fabulous. (You don’t have to know what the good news is to get ready for it).

And then one way or another, put that celebration into play before too much time passes. You’ll condition yourself and powers-that-be for more amazing developments in your life.

For those who feel stumped about what their celebration rituals are, we’d love it if you shared yours in the comments to help everyone get their good grove on.

I love this idea. When I can I’m going to buy a small bottle of champagne to celebrate me going for walks again! Walking for half an hour around my complex and I’m popping the cork! Its happening very soon.

Hugs are always a wonderful way to celebrate! Creates that feel good hormone oxytocin and it becomes contagious as it’s a shared experience. And they’ll just go passing that upbeat vibe on elsewhere. Win/win!
When I’m celebrating it’s usually with people I know well and who I am confident will be open to a hug. But I do offer it as an invitation so there’s a freedom vibe in the mix 🙂

As a non-drinker, I suggest substituting with non-alcoholic champagne, which screams celebration to me. My favorite is Ariel Brut, which is fizzy and dry and so delicious everyone likes it.
I can almost see what I am wearing at the celebration of my highly successful launch, a chilled glass of champagne in hand and adoring partner by my side. Sweet.

  • Linda T. Marsh says:

Sparkling apple cider or sparkling grape juice in long stemmed glasses works just fine!

  • Suzanne says:

Champagne on ice! That may be the absolute BEST IDEA I’ve ever seen for sending the Universe a message. Beats the heck out of cleaning out a closet ;-)I’m going to do that immediately, though like Lorna, I’m going for the sparkling cider as I don’t drink much – would take me three or four years to finish a bottle of champagne. But it’s the message that counts, right? Thanks for the idea.

  • Lorna says:

When I’m celebrating with champagne I usually have Martinellis sparkling cider for the non- drinkers. Almost as good as champagne and they appreciate it.

Pizza con doppia mozzarella e pinot grigio

  • Our family’s celebration routine is going out to dinner at a quiet restaurant. ..

  • Dana Bouse says:

Love it! Going to purchase local Almond Champagne …it’s delicious! I’m putting it up to celebrate a full client load! ????????

    • Ming says:

Dana, I’ll celebrate that with you as well. Almond champagne sounds delicious throw me some my way lol

      • Dana says:

Purchased today, as you saw! I’d share if you were near…it’s really yummy, and made right here in Temecula at a well-established winery (great family owners). 🙂

  • Ming says:

Yay, I’m celebrating that my dog’s Vet visit went well. As this new Vet, never had him before, was poking and searching for things, I was intending to celebrate Lucy’s excellent health at 11. Wow, clear lungs, clear eyes (while he said she saw something he said benign (my favorite word!), clean ears. ok, possible tooth infection and scheduling a dental visit on Tuesday. Again intending blood work all well, easy breezy day for her on Tuesday.. Im going to celebrate today and Tuesday! Healthy pets, always worth celebrating WOO HOO!!

    • Jeannette says:

Tell us how you’re celebrating, Ming!

      • Ming says:

hmmm HOW? Good question. Guess I have been telling Lucy all day how happy I am that she is healthy and how beautiful she is. She is on my bed right now as I am going to read and again celebrating with her how good she feels.. and how happy that it makes me.
I think I will be doing that especially up until her dental extraction… I want to be practicing celebrating how well that will go now!

    • Danielle says:

I don’t know how you celebrate Ming but I just want to say how much I love that photo of you and Lucy! You are both wearing just the prettiest smiles.
