How I Manifested $1,000 in 10 Days

The LOA Cha-Ching: how to manifest a thousand dollars in ten daysLots of folks tell us how to attract more money (myself included), so I thought it would be cool to share a step by step story of how it’s actually done.

This is my example of how I manifested $1,000 in 10 days.

You may glean some insights from my experience, or feel your own inner nudges about how to put this to work yourself. I hope it inspires you to your own deliberate creation success – whatever you might choose.

Two things to know first:

I don’t think money is the be-all end-all it’s often cracked up to be. I’ve got nothing against money, but I also don’t expect it to make me happy. I know happiness is my job, not money’s.

Second, I’ve been working on getting friendly with money for years. I know that when I feel frustrated about money, it has to reflect my frustration. When I’m scared about money, it matches that vibe, too. Whatever I’m feeling is what it has to show me. So I’ve been working on getting friendly with it for a while now. That part didn’t happen in ten days.

Full disclosure about why I did this:

I thought this would make a fun post to write. (My incentive wasn’t need or desperation – it was light and fun.)

Why a thousand dollars? It seemed significant enough to have fun with, but not too big to push me into disbelief.

Why ten days? I know Universe doesn’t need much lead time. And I liked the sound of that title. (Which is why this isn’t called “How to Manifest $5,000 in 4 days.”)

So the vibe behind this project was fun, light and positive. It wasn’t from a place of need or fear or worry. (That vibrational setup makes a big difference.)

Here were my rules:

In order for it to count, the money had to be from an unexpected source. If I was already anticipating the money that showed up, it wouldn’t count, even if I’d temporarily forgotten about it. Also, I didn’t want it to be associated with work. (Meaning, an out of the blue speaking gig for $1k wouldn’t count.) Anything that I had to work for wouldn’t be included in this tally.

I did allow that the money might come from different places in bite size pieces. As long as it added up to a thousand or more within ten days, I’d count it.

Okay, enough disclaimers.

How I manifested four figures from out of nowhere in a week’s time …

This actually took me two tries.

The first time I did this a few weeks ago I had a very different routine than the second time. My first attempt included several manifesting tools and resulted in a near miss of $70,000 on day 7. (Way to overdeliver, Universe!) But when it didn’t come to fruition by day ten, I got irritated and dropped it. That $70k check is still on its way, but it doesn’t count for the ten day limit on this project.

I suspect, though, the work I did in that first go around helped contribute to the success on my second attempt. So I’ll share what I did on that first try:

  • Spoke my intention out loud: $1,000 in ten days to be delivered in an easy, enjoyable way.
  • Gave this manifestingย project a name: Clear Blue Money Manifestation
  • Invited others to join me. (i.e. moneyfesting calls at GVU – group energy is super powerful!)
  • Set up my symbolic representation of this project. (I used pretend million dollar bills stuffed into a clear blue plastic cup. Get it? Money from the clear blue.) And money taped into a blue ribbon windsock (meant to represent a financial windfall).
  • I practiced my $1,000 money out of the clear blue feeling. It included a celebration dance and a “just like that” declaration.
  • Practiced the story I would tell my friend Greg about how I manifested $1,000 out of the clear blue. (Getting used to the words of it and the feeling of it.)
  • Added “$1,000 out of the clear blue” on my manifesting success list.
  • Practiced having eyes for free money. (What does it look like?)
  • Imagined free money as my new normal. (“Of course, this sort of thing happens to me every day.”)
  • Tuned into why I want it. (Free money is cool, and manifesting is fun.)
  • Activated vibration of “delight.” (To feel now how I would feel then. Polar bear cub pictures did the trick!)
  • Thought of ways I’ve experienced money out of the blue before.
  • Called in angels & higher players to help.
  • Let it go.
  • After letting it go, when I did I think of this topic, I thought of it as a done deal.

All that was spread out over a period of five days. On day seven I was offered (out of the clear blue) $70,000 to sell my interest in a house I own. It was a more than fair deal, and solved a couple other challenges at the time, so I accepted. But the money wasn’t in hand by day ten, so I didn’t count it.

On my second attempt several weeks later, I decided to let the process be much easier.

Here’s a breakdown of what my second attempt looked like:

Day 1:ย Past tense story telling in writing, aka Pray Rain Journaling.

This has always been my go-to manifesting technique when it really matters, since putting it in writing is always super powerful for me.
In fact, this is my actual entry (remember this part is scripted in advance, not real life):

Have I told you the story about how I manifested $1,000 in 10 days? You are going to LOVE this one!! It’s one of my favorite manifesting stories of all time.

Okay, so I decided I wanted to write a blog post titled How I Manifested $1,000 in 10 Days. So I thought in order to write that post, I need to manifest $1,000 in ten days. So I decided to do it.

And I practiced a couple things – I did this, I did that, and one of the things I did was to tell the story about how I manifested $1,000 in 10 days.

Then I totally let it go – letting go is something I’ve been working on lately, so I’m getting way better at it. Totally forgot about the intended money from the clear blue manifestation.

And then get this – I was sitting out in the back yard one day, when my friend brought in the mail for me. And in there was a notice that I needed to make a phone call or send something in writing in order to claim this money that had been held in an account for me for over six months. Six MONTHS! I had no idea about this money! I had no idea about this company! Or that they were holding money in my name! Maybe I should have, but I didn’t. So it counts as money coming from the clear blue!! I have to say, I laughed out LOUD for like five minutes straight when I realized what had manifested. And it happened on like day six, I think. I’ll have to check for sure, but it was definitely within the week! So much fun to play with this stuff! In fact, I think I’ll do it again … ย ๐Ÿ™‚

Day 2: Didn’t do anything. Didn’t even think about this project.

Day 3: Didn’t do anything again. (This is first rate “letting go”!)

Day 4: Still didn’t do any alignment techniques. In fact, at this point I’ve totally forgotten about this project.

It was the afternoon of day 4 that my ex-boyfriend handed me a $5,000 cashier’s check payable to me.
“What’s this for?”

At first glance it looked like a check, in fact it was an official check (practically cash), with my name on it. But none of this made any sense.

He explained he was closing an account at the credit union that day, and that he wanted to support me in my latest legal adventure (more on that later). And this was his contribution.

My ex – wanted to support me – with my legal expenses. ?!

The guy who earlier that summer was … actually, I’m going to leave out any negative stories about him. Suffice it to say, this counts as a legitimate pleasant surprise.

It also definitely counted as coming “from the clear blue;” being easy and enjoyable; and it was also five times over the $1,000 I said I wanted –ย and it came in half the time.

It actually took me a few hours to remember my manifesting project and realize that this was that come to fruition.

So that’s how I manifested over a thousand dollars in less than ten days.

So love this post! I was just telling a friend of mine about the first time I created/attracted really big money. It’s so fun!!!

  • Christina says:

I love this post, and I’m back to it because I want to manifest something big. my husband and i have a goal for manifesting $40,000 in two years and being self-employed and able to travel. we’re working with a business coach on our business ideas and she’s saying 5-10 years. But I know this is possible. i already have my 100,000 check i wrote to myself for 2016, the year we earn 100,000. i set that intention 2 years ago. I know this can happen and I want to ask all of you to believe with me. thanks so much!!

  • TeshaFirstClass says:

    Thanks Mrs. C! ๐Ÿ˜‰
I’m so on a roll right now…LOVE IT! Took my little guy to another appointment today. Although I brought snacks with me, I did’t eat them. I was too busy carrying little man in his car seat and wishing I had brought his stroller instead. I was so hungry! I kept thinking about other snacks but I had no money. I would walk by a little stand and think about what I could get from there if I had some change on me.
Then, as I’m walking down the street, there’s 2 people coming towards me giving away snacks as part of their marketing campaign I guess. A young lady came over and gave me Yodels and Devil Dogs! I manifested 2 free snacks! It was so cool!

  • Agree on both counts, Mrs. C! The lightness and sense of play is way more attractive than attachment, and the stories from others are not only delightful but inspiring as well.
Tesha, “I got this” is my favorite line lately!! It’s on my white board in the office and I am LOVING that one! No doubt it’ll serve you extremely well here, along with your high powered visualization. You’re rockin’ it!
    Thanks for posting, you guys!

  • Mrs. C says:

@TeshaFirstClass Congrats! on you baby boy and your new job. I bet you you will love it!
This reminds me that I need to make a habit of it for the good things as I noticed that I was doing it for things like junk food before I lunchtime.
I will have a 7 day visualization on something just for fun. I’m just going to give it a go working my mojo and dropping it and see what happens.

  • TeshaFirstClass says:

Another cool manifestation happened! I’ve been playing phone tag with the owner of this company I felt I really wanted to work for. Since I’m a new mom, I decided that its best for me to stay home with my little guy for a while but I need an income.
I thought I missed the opportunity of getting this job due to my son taking up all of my time and attention (as he should, he was a preemie!) My calls to the Boss went unnoticed, messages not returned.
This went on for several days, I was upset yet determined to obtain this job. It got me nowhere. A part of me decided that I might need to let it go. Instead, I visualized seeing his name come up on my phone and me having the job. I called him one more time. He answered, we spoke for a bit, he said he’d call back. I thought Yeah, heard that before.
I have no official start date but things are in the works. I had a good feeling about the visualization, the feeling of calmness…of “I got this”…and it was so cool!
I guess visualizing is key! ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Mrs. C says:

I love this so much! Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!
I done something like this with a online group years ago with an affirmation. We done it for 30days.
Nothing happened until day 7-8 then money started rolling in from $1 – $5,000.
The thing I loved about group manifestations is that it really helps you stay in flow esp. when you have a off day and can’t be bothered etc.
I also made sure that I was manifesting for the others in the group to because I had a feeling that a few people dropped the ball then no money showed up. I didn’t get money every day but the situations that opened up for me was a game changer.
We even carried on after the 30 days and added love & sex for fun. This worked too!
my dream is to do a Skype meet up on manifesting. Like a mastermind group making sure that everyone inputs in someway if the group is free and in harmony.

  • Mrs. C says:

I forgot to mention that having a sense of play was very important as it made us feel detached.
I just can’t get enough of reading other peoples stories. So cool

  • Okay, I’m smiling ear to ear after reading your manifesting success, Tesha! How delightful!
And powerful – that’s fast manifesting!
You’re right about how we’ve probably missed other cool experiences like that just because we either don’t notice or we dismiss them altogether for some reason.
Kudos for celebrating this one. ๐Ÿ™‚

  • TeshaFirstClass says:

ok this isn’t exactly the same thing but I just manifested a meal! I was sitting here basically playing around online. I was thinking to myself that I should probably make myself a turkey sandwich and some tea eventually. I actually visualized getting the deli meat out and visualized the color and look of the box the tea came in, etc
Still, I continued to sit and play around online. A few minutes go by and I notice that the light on my phone flashing saying that I had a text message.
I check the text and its from my aunt who said that she had made some turkey and cheese sandwiches on an Italian roll and asked if I wanted any. I said Sure!
So my aunt brings me over the sandwiches (we live in the same building) and then asks me if I also want some tea. I said Yup!
Only because I had been reading this website when it happened that it dawned on me that I just manifested a meal within like 20 minutes! Makes me wonder what other things I’ve managed to manifest but didn’t give it much thought because it was so “small”…..hmmm tricky tricky!

  • Maria Lesetz says:

I just had to say “Whoooooo hooooooo” to Susanne’s story above! How cool is that for instant manifestation. I LOVE IT! ๐Ÿ™‚
This made me think of my money manifesting stories and how they came about. And all of them had the same type of energy behind them … a feeling of “knowing” it’s happening, really feeling how that would feel when already having it and most of all for me “letting go of the outcome and not being so attached to it happening”. I’m thinking of one in particular where I had accumulated some debt (something I never had done) and I was getting all caught up in the fact that I had never done that before and every time I looked at the debt I didn’t like it. So, I had to make peace with it, know it was just temporary and I really trusted completely and fully that it would be handled by the Universe. Without even asking, one day my parents told me to look in my back account … and there was a deposit for $25,000! I can’t even describe to you what that felt like – but you can imagine it was the most yummiest and pleasantly surprising feeling! And I know the only reason why that happened was because I let go of the attachment and lack feelings around that debt and trusted that all was well and it was just temporary. It literally came from “out of the blue” with my parents! How cool is that?!
    Just had to share!
Wishing you all abundant Lovin’ Life vibes!!! ๐Ÿ™‚
    ~ Maria

  • Susanne says:

Wow, Maria, that is a terrific — and inspiring — story of financial manifesting at its best. That whole “letting go” thing is crucial, isn’t it. The only times I’ve has success with this is when I am able to completely let go of it emotionally.
And it’s got to be probably the most difficult thing, too. Usually I have *some* sort of emotional attachment to manifesting a sum of money. Even though I pretend I don’t, and tell myself I don’t — down deep, I do. And it’s that tiny attachment, that wanting/needing that sets up a tiny sense of anxiety, urgency, or grasping hopefulness that somehow messes up my energy and I go from manifesting money to manifesting not-money/wanting money. And I’m not quite good enough at LOA yet to get past that consistently. (Notice that “yet”!)
Jeannette, I figure that $2.30 shortfall from my desired $500 is just a BUHF: The Bank of the Universe’s Handling Fee.

  • Looking forward to hearing back from you, Sharon!
And Susanne – how cool are you?! WOO HOO!!! I love the fun you had with it, and of course the EASE you used.
Thank you so much for sharing that win with us – I’m still laughing at the amount of that check!! lol

  • Susanne says:

Okay, I have to share this. Read your post, Jeannette, and, as always, found it delightful and fun. And I **immediately** thought, ohhh, me too, me too! I’m going to play with this . . . except I’m really kinda busy, so I’ll just close my eyes and ask the Universe for a surprise gift of, oh, I don’t know, let’s say $500.
I literally played with it for a few minutes, even did woo-woo noises and waved my hands like a magician conjuring a rabbit out of a hat. Made myself laugh. Went back to work, forgot all about it.
This morning, I grabbed the mail & there was something from a grocery cooperative I belonged to before I moved a month ago. I figured it was my dividend cheque, usually $20. I completely forgot that when you close your account, you get a payout for your accumulated “shares”. Tore it open. And started to laugh. The amount on the cheque? $497.70
How good is Jeannette? THAT good! And I am *still* laughing!

  • Thanks so much for sharing this!!
Going to have a play with this & see what the Universe & I can co-create ๐Ÿ™‚ Stay tuned xxx

  • Thanks, Julie B. And it already is, Sebastian. Thanks for the well wishes!
And Katy, I’m glad you appreciated the how to part. I think it would have been misleading if I hadn’t included the steps on my first attempt, since that definitely helped me get lined up, and I think it’s good for everyone to know that sometimes it takes a couple approaches before we strike gold.
In fact, I think I’ll elaborate a bit more on a couple of those manifesting techniques that served me extremely well. That post coming soon …

  • Katy Lowe says:

LOVE stories that detail a bit of the ‘how to’! Your results of course are wonderful – and sounds like even more coming to you in future weeks – but it gives me a lift to ‘feel’ how I would feel in your shoes…(which can only be good for me too eh?) and can help put a rather wishy/washy intention of my own back on track! I have manifested some fun (big and little) things over the years and continue to enjoy hearing others successes for the areas I may need tweaking with! Thanks Jeannette ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Sebastian says:

That is pretty weird, in a very cool kind of way. Hope everything goes fine with the legal stuff!

  • Julie B says:

GREAT story Jeannette! That is soooo awesome. I grinned throughout the whole story! Love it when things happen like that. Thanks for some tips too!
    ps… Hi Maria!

  • Good point, Maria. And you know what helps that? Telling those real life happy stories. Like, I already know the words and the feelings of those stories because I make a point of telling them often. So it’s very familiar territory – just switching up the “reasons” for it.
Thanks for reading and for posting, Maria! ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Maria says:

What a great story and message, Jeannette! I LOVE IT! And you know that I was loving the “statistical experiment” you turned it into! Great stuff! ๐Ÿ˜‰ One thing I noticed (that people should take away from your experiment) is that when you wrote in your journal you were really feeling it (I can just tell by the way you were writing it) and even though you added details of how it was coming, you weren’t attached to that specific HOW – you were just telling a story that made you feel really good as if it already happened and your vibration alone was the key to having it come to you for real!
It didn’t come the exact way you described in the journal but that didn’t matter, because “the point” wasn’t the details, the point was how you were feeling.
GREAT read, Jeannette! Thanks for sharing! ๐Ÿ™‚
P.S. OMG to the first time and the $70,000 … WOW! And that’s “in the works” .. talk about manifesting in a big way!

  • Nice manifesting, Lizette! How cool that your husband knows “it’s only logical.” That’s a fun partner to create with!
Here’s to more “ridiculous” claims of abundance that manifest before our very eyes. woot!!

  • Lizette says:

This is FANTASTIC!!! WAY TO GO, GIRL! ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚
I keep telling everyone who wants to hear that I’m no longer applying for jobs on oDesk, because they’re just coming to me and clients keep on returning and I’m loving it, so guess what? I can’t remember when last I needed work. I actually told the family yesterday that if it goes on like that, I’ll make enough money to buy us a house in cash at the end of this month (tongue-in-cheek). My daughter asked “Really?” Hubby answered “Why not? Mom has set the intention and it’s only logical.” Except, I’ve asked for the house buying to come from fun money, not work money, but my spirit feels an awesome harmony between the two. I can’t WAIT!
Whenever I make “ridiculous” claims, they tend to manifest in abundance. Love it!

  • Ok, that made me laugh out loud, Kitty! lol
Yes, I think Universe is showing you support!
Thanks for reading and I’m looking forward to hearing your success story, too.

  • Kitty says:

I just came across the amazing blog recently and after reading through every single blog post, I am now re-reading the Money category because I’ve just been feeling a little anxious about my finances recently. So here I am feeling inspired and repeating money mantras to myself… You can imagine my surprise when I refreshed the website and the newest blog titled ‘how I manifested $1000 in 10 days’ appeared. Even though this isn’t the tangible money I was aiming for, I think it’s a pretty good sign that I’m on the right track. Thanks Universe!!

  • Gwen, I LOVE “money that was there all along” stories. And love even more when we develop eyes to see that extra money!
And can I just say WOO HOO for $50k! That’s first class allowing there. ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Gwen says:

So the money was already there but I didn’t realize it. I had an investment account with all of my stuff listed and then I had this real estate investment thing that I would get separate statements for. All the while I though that money was on my main statement. It just got sold and that money went into my investment account. Low and behold this money had not been on my regular statement. Hello 50,000 dollars!!! Wow and yahoo and I have been trying to manifest money through my business but I don’t even know what I did consciously to manifest this…although it was money I already had but didn’t know about! Interesting. I love your story–I need to really get into alignment with my business making money! Thanks for this.

  • Thank you, Nat! I was thinking it’d be fun to do another one of these every couple months or so, as a way to play with Universe and also inspire others to pick up their creative powers, too.

  • Love, love, love this story Jeannette! You’re a master money manifestor/allower ๐Ÿ™‚
