Life Is (Already) Good

It’s easy to get caught up in finding ways to make life better with all this manifesting study and self-improvement stuff.

But one of the best ways to get where we want to be is to recognize on how fabulous life already is.

So along those lines, you’re invited to join in a couple of delicious thoughts about your good life …

When was the last time you laughed so hard you cried? (Did you offend anyone, or did they laugh along?)

What was the last story you heard that renewed your faith in humanity? (I saw mine on facebook just this morning.)

Tell me about the last song that you loved so much you played it full volume … (Thank you, Justin and Chris.)

Have you ever drawn a line in the sand on something that really mattered? (To feel something so strongly – isn’t that a gift?)

Have you ever loved someone so much you thought your heart might burst? (My parent friends report this a lot.)

Did you ever receive a compliment from someone that was so powerful it changed the way you thought of yourself?

Have you ever read fiction you loved so much you thought of the characters as real? (God bless the storytellers!)

Did you ever see a rainbow, waterfall or something so beautiful it took your breath away? (Waking up under the stars is why I camp!)

Can you remember a gaffe so embarrassing you still laugh about it? (The Bloggess will make you laugh.)

Did you ever find strength after ruin? Getting up from the ashes is quite the experience. Not everyone gets that privilege.

Have you had the kind of friend in your life that made it all better? (Or been that friend?)

Have you known what it’s like to be loved by a four legged furball? And to return that love?

Did you ever enjoy a walk in the rain? Or a book by the fire? How about dangling toes in the water? Or playing hooky!

There are so many different ways to love being here …

Life is good. Already. Right now. Not someday when we get all the things we want – but right here, right now.

Take a moment to remember it. You’ll be glad you did. 🙂

We’d love to hear some of your good vibrations in the comments, if you care to share!

    Thank you so much Jeannette!
Exactly the reminder I needed today, and lots of food for thought of my own new questions to get me in the vortex:)!

    Great post Jeannette,
I have come to realize that we sometimes take some little things in our lives for granted, like appreciating a friend who made you feel special, that moment when you behold something meaningful or breathtakingly beautiful.
Thanks for the reminder to reminisce beautiful moments. This exercise brings positive energy in our lives as well as bring a feeling of uplift.

We all go through difficult times, but no matter how bad things seem there is always plenty to be thankful for. I find that just reminding yourself now and again helps a lot. Writing them down is often a good idea so you can read it and cheer yourself up.

What a nice list of ‘remember a time you were happy’ exercise.
It is one of my tools to get aligned, Jeannette and next time I want to do that exercise, I will come to your blog and read this post!! 😀

A few days ago I read an older blog post about coming up with as many positive thoughts as you can to raise your vibration. The challenge is to reach a thousand and I’ve accepted that challenge. Since 2 days I’ve started a list and a couple times a day I take a minute to write down as many things that give me joy as I can. I’ve got 233 now and have already 20 bubbling in my head now that I will write down after I finish this post. Staying focused on the beautiful and funny things in life is what helps me through the dips of fear and doubt. Not only that, the dips don’t take as long anymore and every time I come out wiser, happier and more grateful. Thank you, goodvibe blog, for helping me this year on my personal journey, thank you, universe, for flowing through me and thank you, me, for understanding and loving my own power and life. Life is good indeed!

In the moments you forget who you are, the Universe will gently remind you. I’m not on here everyday, but felt lead to come here. Thank you for the post. Truth is….life is pretty good. Thank you so very much. We live in a infinitely loving Universe????????

I look at the funny signs web sites and laugh til tears stream down my cheeks????

  • So true that recognition of how good things already are is important. I have found that for me one of the helps in understanding this even when dealing with tough situations and or people, is that I try to see the Source in it, surrounding it, or working through it.
