Manifest with Your Inbox

Have you ever had one of those emails where every time you see the subject line your vibe takes a plunge?

Like an email from your a sweetheart asking, “Can we talk?” or an email from a client that reads, “Time to make a change.”

Or something from a creditor about a payment due or a mass email from work about internal changes to your department.

Those are the sorts of subject lines that can inspire dread in even the most conscious creator’s heart.

I bet you’ve had those exchanges with someone via email, too, where you had to change the subject line because it made you cringe inside every time you saw it. (I get my share of “Help!” or “I don’t know what to do” messages that are worth editing.)

We’re smart to manage those subject lines (by filing or changing them) so we don’t continue to trigger bad vibes.

There are also those times when we get a message that we love so much we keep it front and center to continue enjoying it, right?

For those of us who spend a lot of time with email, this is an easy place to play with managing our vibe …

Here’s a sneaky way to make your inbox work for you …

Send yourself a message, maybe even from a different email account, with a subject line that makes your heart soar.

And don’t open it, so the subject stays highlighted in your inbox.

Every time your brain scans your inbox, it’ll register the one designed to delight you and boost your vibe.

It’s subtle, but it works.

You can create specific subject lines that address whatever good news you’d love to hear, but these generic ones can boost anyone’s vibe:

  • Yay – it worked!!
  • Congrats – you’re the winner!
  • Your full payment received
  • Wow – you rocked it!
  • I just heard the good news!
  • You must be on cloud 9!
  • Heard the nicest thing about you today …
  • From a raving fan …
  • You’ve got money!

Sprinkle a couple of those in your inbox now and again and you’ll see what I mean about how it makes you smile even though it’s made up.

Or better yet, conspire with an LOA savvy friend to give each other pleasant inbox surprises.

(You don’t have an LOA savvy friend? There’s an email subject line for that: “from your bestie!”)

It works even better when you customize a message to specific dreams and desires:

  • “Congrats on your hole in one!”
  • “I just heard you got the job!”
  • “He proposed?! Send pics!”
  • “Saw you at the gym – you look aMAZING!”

And if your inbox gives you a preview of the message itself, add a sentence or two that reinforces the good vibes you’re conjuring.
Please don’t take my word for it.

Plant a vibrational treat in your inbox today and let the good vibes roll. 🙂

  • Jiya says:

This happens with me when i read the sibject lines of the emaiks that my company’s AHA group sends. Name is Aha and they work on things that create for Aha moments for people like dance day, foodie’s day stc.
I am glad u came up with this and it is another sign that I should work on my post too.

Hi Jeanette, your post has just made me realize how many opportunities for increasing my vibration of abundance I’ve been missing – all those spam emails telling me I’ve won $500 or I have a $50 amazon card :). Now every time I see them instead of being annoyed I’ve got more spam emails I’m going to think about how rich I am and how much the universe wants to give me more for no effort!!! xoxo

I’ve got to hand it to you, Jeannette. You always come up with cool ideas for getting into a better feeling place. Unique idea, I’ll have to play with this one and see what comes of it. Thanks!

I subscribe to a provincial lottery’s on-line ticket service through which I buy a $5 lottery ticket every week. They send an email when you’ve won a draw — “You’re a Winner!” — & my heart always does a little happy dance when I see that header, even when the win is nothing fancier than a free ticket. I win something about 1/3 of the time & in 2017 more or less broke even, but it occurred to me when I renewed the subscription last week that I need to up my LOA sizzle to boost those wins into a much higher tax bracket. Maybe it’s as simple as this — sending *myself* winner notices! Love it! In fact I’m going to experiment with a variety of emails to myself — some with just an energy-raising header as you suggest here, some with actual content (like pictures) to remind me of plans, dreams, my Word of the Year & so on. Email is such a ubiquitous part of my daily life I’ve forgotten I can use it for more than talking to *other* people. What better person to communicate with than my own best Higher Self?!
