On My Board

mountain_goat.jpgThe bulletin board in my office is crowded with inspiring images, objects, goals and mantras.  Because I’m regularly asked what thoughts I’m working with, I thought I’d officially share them here.

So these are the thoughts I’m reinforcing as my reality, amidst the dog & otter & mountain goat photos, currency bills from across the globe, and beautiful landscape pictures.
Each thought is handwritten on a pretty colored sticky note (orange, pink, purple, green and yellow) with colored pen (in no order of importance):

  • My coaching and products are in HIGH DEMAND
  • I lose weight while I sleep
  • I am the example of extraordinary well-being
  • The mind is a two-bit whore, it’ll go anywhere  (compliments of Martha Beck)
  • The system is set up for my success
  • It gets easier and easier!!
  • The Universe is Good To Me!
  • I am a highly paid and highly respected internet marketer
  • The more I goof off, the better things get!
  • I live a charmed life!
  • They keep finding me!  Yay!!
  • You can prove anything!
  • I’m the best there is. (compliments of my dear Marine Corps Dad)
  • I love you.  Please forgive me.  Thank you. (compliments of Dr. Len)
  • The Universe ALWAYS has my best interests at heart and delivers me perfection every single time. Always. Perfection. (compliments of me)
  • I attract Big Fat Cash with ease and joy!
  • What would feel fabulous right now?
  • We’ve got it made!

You gotta admit, that’s a fun list to read, isn’t it?
Or maybe it’s just that for me.  Which is what matters!  Sitting in the vicinity of these inspiring thoughts-becoming-realities is good for my vibe, which is good for my reality.
I’d love to hear what mantras and affirmations YOU’RE working with, whether written down or just something you repeat to yourself in certain moments throughout the day.
Post them here to not only inspire the rest of us, but also to amp up their power for you.  (Since getting the rest of us in on it increases the energy of it!)

-I trust in my perfect future.
-I allow myself to feel the entire spectrum of my feelings.
-I am divinely guided with keen intuition.
-I am rembering the angel that I truly am. (buddhist mentor)
-I am creative. I seek ways to enjoy myself.
    -I am present and grateful.
-I value tough times, knowing I become wiser and more compassionate.
-I am host to spirit, rather than hostage to ego. (Marianne Williamson)
-I claim my good and my goodness.
-I know my inner strength even when I feel weak.
    -I am consciousness and love.
“One thing we do know: Life will give you whatever experience is most helpful for the evolution of your consciousness. How do you know this is the experience you need? Because this is the experience you are having at this moment”

🙂 One of the faves EVER, yaaay! I’ll celebrate that!

  • Funny, indeed! lol
Thanks for posting, Col and everyone else. This has to be one of my favorite threads ever on this blog!

  • col @ gigablonde :: things to do in ny when you're [alive] says:

LOL, I read “I attract Big Cat Fish” 😀 Seriously, I thought, “Is Jeannette going on a boating trip?? Ooooh, ooh, CASH!” I love stuff like that, when the mind plays tricks on us.
Your mantras are so unique and original and I adore them! This one is particularly delightful, “The more I goof off, the better things get!”
I never even woulda browsed that one but I am so glad I did because I’ve just loosened up on myself lately and that one reinforces that. The past few weeks I had been living in “didn’t-get-enough-done” judgementland and kept packing and repacking my bags to get outa that crazy town!
Then I experienced a big shift and your mantra now gets added to my fun tools to support easing up on myself. And what always happens when I ease up is flowing productivity when I am designing visuals to support people. Beautiful!
    Funny how that works, right?

  • Veronica, that rings a nice bell for me especially after being immersed in James Ray’s definition of wealth – hits all points across the board.
Thanks for sharing yours here, Veronica! Much appreciated!

  • Powerful affirmations, Kristy! I especially like the last one.
Looking forward to hearing when you upgrade from “PC coming soon” to “PC here now” or something that takes him out of tomorrow and puts him in today. But I can also appreciate the beauty of knowing he’s coming, but not having to deal with him right here right now. he he
Am I stinker? Regardless, also looking forward to seeing you on late night tv!! 🙂

  • Veronica Hay says:

Hi Jeannette – Great Post, thanks for sharing. I like to work with this one:

    Enjoy your day.

What a fun one to implement and experience!
    Thanks, girlfriend.

  • Hee, Jeannette, I like your version, too!
I forget where I got this one (SARK? I’m not sure), but here it is:
    “I am welcome everywhere.”
    And on a festive note:
    “I am a big party.”

  • Good ones, Dad. 🙂
Nice to see you here again!

Thanks, ladies, for adding your voices & vibes here. Much love to you both!

  • Anna says:

I was wondering when someone else was going to speak to their jeans, angel and Oprah…
    Love this Universe!

  • Tia Singh says:

Oooops!! Looks like I copy pasted my daily TUT (www.tut.com) message on here by mistake .. lol .. But there are no mistakes so maybe it was meant to be here!

Be led by your feelings. And the next time someone wants to fit you into a mold, just tell ’em that your jeans are in the wash, your angel’s at the mall, and Oprah’s on the other line.

  • Martha, I totally burst out laughing with delight as I started reading this thinking it was going to be “Everyone is always flirting with ME.”

Now THAT one sounds like one I might use!! lol

But I like your version too.

You rock! Thanks for reading, and especially for contributing to this fun conversation, Martha.

  • One of my mantras: “Everyone is always flirting with everyone.”

  • Oh my gosh, the gems just keep coming!!

Kat, I LOVE this: “The world is a circle; sometimes the thing that seems like the end is just the beginning.”

I’m sure I’ve got several clients jotting that one down right now!!

    Thank you, dear friend. 🙂

  • Kat says:

I love this! It feels so energizing to read everyone’s posts! Here are a couple of mine…
    * When your hand is open to give, it is also open to receive [Niecy Nash]
    * I am well-respected and well-paid.
    * I have everything that I need.
    * I am a money-magnet
    * The world is a circle; sometimes the thing that seems like the end is just the beginning.
    * I am happy, joyous and free!

  • No WONDER you and Mark feel so good to me, Debra!! This explains a LOT! lol

    Wow, you are an inspiration!

“This is where it gets good” might be my favorite. Anyone else lifting that one besides me?! hee hee

Regarding the dog, otter & goat … the dog is .. well, a DOG. Who doesn’t feel better looking at a DOG? The otter is to remind me to play and have fun, not take things too seriously. And the goat reminds me that my rising Capricorn self is sure-footed and steady on its upward journey to inevitable success, and that life just gets better as we get older. hee hee

Thanks so much for posting, Debra, and for the links to your site and Kay’s work. MUCH appreciated!

  • Debra says:

    Love this, Jeanette! :0)
Mark and I did an interesting version of this recently. Astrologically speaking, from Jun through most of Nov. we were in a space that our dear friend, Kay Snow-Davis referred to as a “Window of Grace”. Pluto had re-entered Sag for this period…and this exact match won’t happen again for another 246 years! Energetically the W of Grace gave us a portal to Truth and Clarity…one that could assist in preparing us for being in the fullest expression of our Brilliance in Action. Good Stuff. It was a “wake up call”…a time to check in, take inventory, say bye-bye to what was no longer needed (on all levels!)…etc. It was a time to get clear on what it is we really want. (isn’t it cool how even if you didn’t know the planets were up to something that’s what lots of us were doing/noticing anyway??) Anywho…
During that time Mark and I devoted an entire wall in our office to our own personal “getting clear on what do we really want” time. The bulletin board was just TOO small! :0)
Here’s some of what was found on our wall (which has now been artfully placed in our manifestation journal!):
“I feel clear, I am relaxed, at peace, awake and aware.”
    “Nature is my comfort.”
“Green & Water, Ease & Grace…& FUN…for the JOY of it; this is OUR LIFE.”
“We are fully sustainable, fully supported…100%+ abundant.”
“This is where it gets good.”
“Just keep adding another zero.” (w/money)
    “Create, Play, Care.”
“Animal Magic.” (animals are a BIG part of my happiness)
“I am FREE to be me”
“We have complete freedom and flexibility.”
“As I come into my Brilliance I shed the weight of the world.”
“I am LOVE, I am PEACE, I am HARMONY.”
“My Brilliance shines and I love to share it.”
“See with insight, not with eyesight.” (Rev. Michael Beckwith)
“You’ll know you’re on track by the aliveness you feel.” (Mary Mannin Morresy)
“We know the art of happiness.”
The wall was also filled w/nature photos that spoke to Mark and I, some critter photos (mostly alpaca at that time!), and lots and lots of brightly colored post-its (love ’em!…grateful for ’em!) with all sorts of ideas, dreams, wishes…and questions…lots of questions which little by little gained clarity in the form of answers, ideas or more questions! :0)
It was an eye-opening, fun exercise for us. Now that we’ve moved on through the Window of Grace and into a very different energy of Pluto in Capricorn (for the next 16 years!). The energy of this space is about our commitment & responsibility (Capricorn) around the vibrational energy of the collective consciousness, recognized and not recognized. This is a time where it’s more about what we’re ‘feeling’ than what we’re ‘thinking’. It’s time to align our thinking with the movement in our bodies…with our ‘feeling’. Oooo, as a girl who’s got a whole lot of earth and water in her chart, this stuff just makes me tingle! :0)
Time for a new wall!! Thanks for the reminder of how powerful this is, Jeanette! Sometimes I feel like my body is a walking bulletin board and I’ve got intuitive post-its all over the place…I wonder sometimes when I’m in public if the bright pink one on my forehead that says, “I love life, I love you, smiles feel good and it’s OK for you to smile too.” is truly visible to others that see me, ’cause people sure get a kick out of smiling at me…some even laugh. Hmmmm…. LOL :0)
By the way…being the animal lover that I am…
I’m curious. Why the dog, otter and mountain goat pic’s on your bulletin board? Is it the symbolism? Oooo, I think I love ya even more, if that’s it! :0) *No worries if it’s not, you’re still at the top of my list!
    Peace, Love and Harmony… Debra
PS~Here’s a link to Kay’s new book, “Gateways to the Soul, Heart of Astrology” The book is a guide for you to discover your own messages within your astrological birth chart; it’s fantastic!

  • Oh, good thing I don’t believe in “too much fun,” Hannah, because I can tell you’re having a big dose of it with $158 million! woo hoo!!!

Okay, I’m off to have fun answering your question, too.

Thanks for taking us to such a fun place! 🙂

  • Hannah says:

    Great post!
    I’ve been liking one lately:
What’ll I do now that I have 158 million dollars?
(and then I have fun imagining).
Wait a second, that doesn’t matter. I have 158 million dollars!!
We’re having so much fun loving and adoring each other.
I am uplifted by the people in my life and they are uplifted by me.
I’m going to live to be 125 years old and I have ALL the time in the world

  • “There is always a way” is one I haven’t used before, Pernille – and I am loving it! Connects to incredible inner strength, huh?

    I’m adding it!

Thanks for reading and for sharing, Pernille. MUCH appreciated!

  • I love this – thanks for sharing 🙂

  • Whew – I’m feeling the zing too, Kim! I can tell by the way I feel in reading these that anyone embracing these thoughts is someone I want to be around.

So thanks for being around, my friend! 🙂

  • Kim Falconer says:

I love these–especially, ‘I’ve got a charmed life!’ I’m adding that to my list!
    Some of mine are:
I have all the time in the world!
I have all the money in the world!
I am the daughter of the Universe; everyone gives way to me. (Thank you Jeannette)
    I’m a best selling novelist.
    Success is inevitable.
    All is well (Abraham)
I only attract people who love me.
I only attract people I love!
Open mind, open palm, open heart.
Wow! I felt my vibe zing as I wrote those!
    Thank you!!!

  • Mitch, I’m in love with your list! I love how succinct and powerful it is!

Your first one saved my day in my early coaching practice months – that’s an all time favorite of mine. But your last one is a wonderful turnaround on something I often say (to myself and clients): “You just can’t lose.” So much more empowering when it’s reworded in the positive.

Thank you for pitching in, Mitch – I think you’ll be inspiring many others with this contribution! 🙂

  • Mitch says:

I love this! Here are some of my favorites.
“Man, it’s good to be rich!”
    “Things are going pretty fantastically.”
“I want it, I got it, it’s coming, I know it.” -Abraham
“Easy come, easy come.” -my best friend
“All I can do is win!”

  • LeslieB says:

I can practically SEE that wall! And I want one for my very own – what a great reminder system to use for my 2009 goals.
I’ll make one for self care, for my coaching business, my relationship, my health and my day job. Just to name a few . . .

  • Oooh, you’ve collected some gems over time, haven’t you, Ariel?! I particularly love the contribution from William!!
The caterpillar & butterly quote is a particularly powerful one for me as well. Thanks for letting us peek at your board that you didn’t realize you had! lol
    Love you!

  • Ariel says:

I loved reading about your bulletin board and was thinking, wow- I should do that for myself.. But at closer study, I found that I too have sayings on my bulletin board- ha!! (It is pretty cluttered, I should clear it out a bit so I don’t forget that the sayings are even there!)
    *Heaven is in this moment.
*The key to dropping your past is owning your present.
*Your story is part of your buffer. You can’t be intimate with someone if you are coming behind your resume.
*Life isn’t about finding yourself, Life is about creating yourself.
*Go confidently in the direction of your dreams! Live the life you’ve imagined. -Thoreau
*Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly. -anonymous
*You are a great teacher! – hand made card from my 3 yr. old kindermusik student William.
    *I make big money.

  • Nice list, Flavia! Thanks for sharing it here!

Your “I am the well-tended to recipient of the Universe” reminds me of one I used to use: “My angels are good to me!” (Which I think a cat might have taken down, so I’m replacing it tonight.)

Thanks for raising the vibe here, Flavia! 🙂

  • Flavia says:

I’m happy to admit that it is REALLY fun to read them!
    Some of mine are:
“I Love me” ( I’m no longer using any excuse not to love me)
“Assume the feeling of the wish fulfilled” (compliments of Neville Goddard)
“I am the well-tended to recipient of the Universe”
“Things ALWAYS work out for me”I love money and money loves me”
“The better it gets, the better it gets”
    “Life is magical!”

  • LeslieB, your comment is making me realize that’s one missing on my board – for great self care.

Hmm … I mean, maybe it’s covered by a few of the existing ones, but I’d like to throw in something specific about how I have plenty of time to treat myself like royalty.

    Thanks for the inspiration! 🙂

  • Thanks, Anonymous! Feel free to replicate whatever inspires you!!

You’ll be tapping into a powerful “thought cloud” because I and many others have already been flowing good energy into these creations. 🙂

  • Anonymous says:

    LOVE IT!
