Give Yourself Credit (Success Is Sometimes Sneaky)

Sometimes Success Sneaks Up

Sometimes Success Sneaks Up

When one of my colleagues wasn’t giving herself proper credit for what she’s manifested, I shared that lots of us don’t recognize our biggest and best creations.

Remember how Jerry Hicks didn’t consciously realize he’d manifested all the dreams on his 5 year old vision board until he was cleaning out the closet and saw the old boards? Everything on it had come to fruition!

Sometimes our best stuff sneaks in so gradually we just don’t realize it.

I think I might be having that same experience with reverse aging!

Check this out:

A couple years ago as I entered my 40s I noticed signs of aging and got conscious about opting out of the typical experience. My intention was to get better with age, and I delighted in everything I saw about the concept of reverse aging.

Yesterday I was realizing what an evangelist I’ve become for MFR (myofascial release). I told a client he should seek out an MFR therapist. I’ve told my mom, my dad, my brother, his fiance, my ex, his new girlfriend, his mom, my boyfriend, my boyfriend’s mom, my boyfriend’s golf friends – practically everyone I know to get some MFR work done. I posted about it on my facebook page; I pass out Corrine’s business cards.

That’s what evangelism looks like, right?

Right. But it’s because of some really incredible changes in my physical self! The first time I got off Corrine Emery’s table, I literally felt 10 years younger!  As I was reaching down for my purse I felt like I was in a much younger body! It really surprised me!

Ok, so there’s that.

And then there’s this: I’ve been dying gray out of my hair for a few years now. (Okay, maybe more than a few.) Two months ago I went to a new hair girl just for kicks. She used new product and had a different technique for applying it. You know how those hair girls are – always playing around.  🙂

I didn’t think too much of it at the time, but a couple times since I’ve looked in the mirror at the regrowth and thought there doesn’t seem to be as much gray as there used to be. Well, that’s impossible, right?  Gray doesn’t just disappear (unless it’s dyed of course). No matter how different her dye or application of it was, it wouldn’t change the regrowth. Maybe my hair’s just growing super slow lately. Except that’s not it, because I can see the line. Weird, huh?

Not so weird when I recall my intention for reverse aging!  And the lunch I had with Auretha Callison several weeks ago when she raved about this supplement called Cell Power that supposedly does a ton of amazing things for you, including restore gray hair to its original color. I was skeptical, but you can’t resist someone raving that much.

Looking back now I wonder if maybe there was something to it?

Anyway, after seeing all this, I realize that my “reverse aging” manifestation is upon me!! woo hoo!

My point here is that it may not be that you’re not a great manifester. It may be that you’re such a good manifester you don’t even realize your best work.

Don’t be surprised if it turns out that your most amazing creation is already unfolding right under your nose!

  • Jeannette,
I am tickled with the entire concept of reverse aging! I love it and am experiencing it!
fyi, after taking Cell Power to get your PH to a healthy level, then you take Super Silica (from the same company) to add in the nutrient silica that we lose as we age. I’ve been hearing more and more ways to regrow your natural hair color after gray.
    Aging is so….80’s!!

  • Michael D says:

First, I’ll echo Deb’s comment that I’ve heard copper, not zinc (as BarbaraM mentioned) is the key to hair color. This is anecdotal, but a friend who took colloidal copper daily froze his gray for at least 10 years. I haven’t been able to find a source of colloidal copper, but, well, there ya go. 😉
Second, myofascial release has been wonderful for me – and for Sara – I’ve become an evangelist myself! I can’t encourage people enough to explore and find a good practitioner and give it a try!

  • Nikki says:

PS!!! I also thought that you were much much younger.. I also thought that you were like 32-33ish!! How AWESOME!!! It is working! PLUS, you have a young tender energy that you are spreading! Lots of Laughter! Which is good for the soul!!! IT’S WORKING!! I’m going to try it too!!!:)

  • Nikki says:

    Hi Jeannette!
You know that this really hits home for me! Thank you for bringing this too light for me previously, and now again on this blog, simply because, I for one, focus so hard on the end result, and I often leave my path of accomplishments out of the equation! We both know that my Good Vibe relationship is a manifestation in itself, that alone leaves me smiling, and it also helps me when my vibes get tainted for the next set of goodies that I’m creating!! Thanks for posting this!
    You’re the BEST!!! 🙂

  • Yuval Goren says:

This is a very good point Jeannette. Sometimes we are so focused on the end result that we don’t notice the progress and all the great achievements we make along the way. But those milestones is what creating our overall success.

  • Totally agree with everything you say here, including the reverse ageing, which I have been practicing myself for 6 years. Other ppl can see it. Diet, detox and extra sleep have been a large part of implementing my intention. And I agree: the best things we manifest sneak up on us. If we usually manifest easily and some thing don’t manifest easily, maybe they’re not the best for us.

  • Nicole says:

Wow Jeannette… I’ve always thought you were younger than me (~32 ish). See, your manifestation is working!!

  • Parul, for some reason, that seems completely natural for you. Maybe it’s your vibrant youthful energy or just fabulous genes – but I can totally see that happening.
Thanks for reading, my friend! 🙂

  • Parul Bhargava says:

    Aging???? What’s that?? 😉
I was telling my sister just day before that my intention is to look and feel young forever… 🙂

  • Thank you for that tip, Deb! I always love having more reasons to believe more can happen!

  • Deb says:

    Hi Jeanette.
Try toki color from lane labs. I was skeptical, but I got results. From what I’ve read on the topic – copper is the key nutrient to reversing gray. I appreciate your blog and all that you do.
    Wishing you the best,

  • Carolyn, I’m going to join you in some first class manifesting for an MFR person near you.
    The website has this locator:
but it seems it’s for US therapists only.
Try the contact information on the site, and with our good intentions combined, no doubt you’ll find someone in your area who will delight you!

  • Carolyn says:

    Hey Jeannette,
This article is so close to home for me. I sent you a week ago my fear of turning 40 in 5 months time “terrified of turning 40”. Remember?
Anyway your advice was so cool. “The process is simple: we just find a thought that feels a little better. Rinse and repeat. :)”
I loved the advice on the link “the older they get, the less they care what others think. That’s worth celebrating!” It sure is.
I wonder if there is an MFR therapist near me..I live in Nairobi Kenya:) What is the concept behind that?

  • Janette says:

    Kittens!! Sneaking!!! *melt*
Oh, and Jeannette – you’re cute too! Heheheh.
I totally agree about success sometimes being sneaky. I’m listening extra hard for the pad of soft feet behind me, anticipating the stroke of kitty success paws at the back of my neck. Delicious!

  • Yay for you, Suzie! I’d be milking that one for sure!
Janette and Ashley, I’m practically loving that photo even more than the post! lol Aren’t they CUTE?! Any excuse to get cute baby animals into a post. !!

  • Ashley says:

Love it! Love it! Love it! And I love cute, cute kittens too!

  • Suzie Cheel says:

    Thanks Jeanette
This brought a smile to my face as I was told something similar this week by a colleague about where I was at currently- anothers perspective is often so enlightening

  • Always a pleasure to see your smiling face here, Kim!
And Sophie, the serendipities are a sign of our alignment, no doubt!

  • Sophie says:

How weird that we were just talking about this and I had not even read yout blog! I love being on the same page!
    Yeah for reverse aging!!!

  • Kim Falconer says:

I love this! I am going to put some thought to my sneak manifestations and return! Thank you so much Jeannette. You brightened my day!

  • Mindy Crary says:

Oh, I love this story! I’ve been coming across a lot of people lately who are focused on what they are NOT getting, instead of letting go and letting the universe decide how things should unfold. Plus, wow, I have to try myofacia release :o)

  • “Anchoring” into 25! Barbara, I like your style!
Please let me know how that zinc treats you!

  • I think that’s fairly common, Mindy, for folks (even some deliberate creators!) to be focused on what’s NOT happening rather than letting it go to make room for Universe to deliver.
Here’s to us being that exception more often. hee hee
Thanks for chiming in here, Mindy! 🙂

  • BarbaraM says:

    Hi Jeannette,
I just came from last walk with my dog for this day and guess what, I was playing with idea to reverse my aging. Actually I was laughing, because it cross my mind, that I don’t actually want to be a baby few year from now. LOOOOOL Actually I am manifesting “reverse aging” really well, so well that sometimes I have to show my ID card for people to believe my true age. 🙂 I actually “anchored” myself in feeling 25 year old.
Recently I am looking into how to reverse hair back into their primary colour. I read that the hair is graying because it is lacking zink. So I just bougth some supplements yesterday to see the result. Actually hair colouring is bothering me a bit 😉
Good to know about myofacia release and Cell Power – I will definitely check this out as well. Thank you for – as always – great post!

  • You should hear Auretha talk about it, MissyB. She should be a paid company representative! lol

  • MissyB says:

All I can say is I want some of that Cell Power !

  • Heidi, that is super sweet of you to pop in and say so! I sure appreciate that kind of enthusiasm for what we’re doing here.
Thank you for reading and for sharing your thoughts! 🙂

  • Heidi says:

Hey, Jeannette – I don’t really have a comment on your post. I just wanted to say thank you for your blog. I discovered your site a couple of months ago and have been addicted ever since. Thank you so much for providing inspiration and encouragement. The positive support community you have built is so refreshing. Thank you for all you do!!

  • Milos, I totally know what you mean! Realizing Universe’s “sneaky” way of delivering like that sometimes makes me laugh out loud. Sometimes it makes me a little exasperated. (“That’s not what I meant!”) lol
Thanks for that reminder, my friend. 🙂

  • Milos - Success Secret Blog says:

Thanks for sharing this insight Jeannette. I agree with you about not knowing that our wishes already came true. They might not happen in the way we expected, but they surely have happened the way we asked. So, we should pay attention to exact formulation our wishes.
Recently my wish to receive 10.000 euros came true. I realized it when my nephew payed me 10.000 monopoly money (we call them euros) when the dices have decided he has to stay in one of my hotels 🙂 In that moment I knew I should ask differently.
