What Should I Be Doing?

When you don’t know what you should be doing, the answer is get your vibrational act together first.

If you’re not feeling called to something obvious; if you’re not clear about what to engage next – that means your guidance isn’t fully intact. You do not want to operate without that.

You can still make progress without higher power as your primary partner, but your true leverage as a conscious creator is to line up with what you want and then let inner guidance point the way there.

(Remember inner guidance reveals itself via your joy, curiosity, or even just relief. It speaks the language of “what feels better.”)

So if you’re not feeling strong impulses or desires about what to do next, your first step is to remind yourself where you’re going.

See it, hear it, feel it. What does it look like? What does it feel like? What’s your favorite part about it?

After you’ve dialed in nicely to your desired end result, then just listen for whatever feels best.

This is a straightforward system we’re working with. All we have to do is remember how it works and get in the habit of working with it rather than against it.

So when you notice you’re trying to figure it out yourself, or doing something you don’t really like, or doing nothing because you’re not sure what to do – that’s your cue to remember what you’re up to (what are you creating?) and then let your joy/relief show you the next step.

For any of us who needed a reminder. 😉

I have been in this limbo that you talk about for several months now, ever since my father left this world. Before he left I was pretty clear about what I wanted to do. But after he left the world, I don’t want to do anything anymore. All the things I wanted to do seem frivolous, selfish and superfluous now, like none of them have any meaning anymore and I don’t want to do anything anymore. I don’t know if I’m just depressed or if I have become enlightened to the fact that my old ways were just fatuous, self-centred and meaningless. But I have no idea what to do now. I don’t want to go back to my old, frivolous, meaningless ways, but I don’t want to do anything else either.

Maybe instead of asking what you want to do, you could explore how you want to feel instead, Serena. Sending good vibes and big hugs your way …

I really needed to hear this today. Thank you! 🙂

  • Karen says:

Definitely needed this today. Trying to figure out how to market my business and what to do about a potential romantic relationship — I’ve gotten nowhere on either front. I’ll attend to my vibration first. Thank you.

  • Michael says:

Perfect timing yet again! Thanks, Jeannette… 🙂
