Will Smith as Deliberate Creator
If you’re looking for LOA inspiration from a well known success who walks the talk, look no further than Will Smith.
He is not only an award winning rapper, actor and film producer, looked up to by many in the entertainment industry, but he’s also one of the most clear and vocal celebrities speaking about our power to create reality.
One of my favorite quotes from this charismatic icon is:
I want to represent possibilties. I want to represent magic … that 2 plus 2 only equals 4 if you accept that 2 plus 2 equals 4. 2 plus 2 is gonna be what I want it to be.
There’s a redemptive power that making a choice has. Make a choice. Just decide what it’s gonna be, who you’re gonna be, how you’re gonna do it. Just decide. And then from that point, Universe is gonna get out of your way.
While Will glorifies hard work more than I personally find helpful, so much of his message reinforces delibreate creation principles that I think he’s well worth tuning into for inspiration.
Read more thoughts from this natural uplifter that speak directly to conscious creation:
“We grew up with the sense that where we were almost didn’t matter, because we were becoming something greater.” (I love his willingness and ability to dismiss reality!)
“I want to represent possibilities. I want to represent the idea that you really can make what you want. I believe that I can create whatever I want to create.”
“The first step before anybody else in the world believes it is you have to believe it.”
“There’s a certain delusional quality that all successful people have to have. You have to believe that something different than what has happened for the last 50 million years of history – you have to believe that something different can happen.”
“Being realistic is the most commonly traveled road to mediocrity. Why would you be realistic? What’s the point of being realistic? I’m gonna do it. It’s done. It’s already done, the second I decide it’s done, it’s already done. It’s just that now we gotta wait for y’all to see.”
“As soon as you say it, now you just made that real.” (Speaking to why we wouldn’t reinforce our limitations by saying what we don’t want.)
“Our thoughts, our feelings, our dreams, our ideas are physical in the Universe. If we dream something, if we picture something, if we commit ourselves to it, then that is a physical thrust towards realization that we can put into the Universe. Universe is not a thing that’s gonna push us around. We are gonna bend the Universe and command and demand that Universe become what we want it to be.”
“It takes an obsessive focus with all of your fiber and heart and creativity.” (I hear that to mean that spreading our attention out isn’t as powerful as focusing exclusively on what we want to bring to life.)
It may be I have a particular affinity for Will because we were born within 24 hours of each other, which makes me wonder about our astrological influences that make us both so keen to inspire possibilities and empowerment in others.
At any rate, I’m thrilled Will speaks so openly about something that could be considered controversial in some circles.
