About Your Alignment Practice

As a law of attraction coach I get a lot of questions fellow creators about how to manifest what they want …

Wondering how to manifest money for travel, home, surgery, etc. Or why it’s taking so long to manifest a new love. Or what the trick is to attracting a new job.

Since I don’t specialize in converting muggles, my peeps already know about law of attraction and how it works.

That’s why I respond by asking what their current alignment practice is.

And even from people who already know about vibration and focus and matching the frequency of their desire, the majority of inquirers reply that they don’t have one.

They aren’t actually doing any of the LOA work to create what they want.

So I’m going on record here to say that’s your first step. Engage your creative power by putting to use one or more of the manifesting methods you’ve learned here or elsewhere. Because it isn’t enough to know how the system works – you’ve got to actually work the system.

The magic doesn’t automatically happen just because we know about law of attraction, or have an Abe subscription, or read everything on this blog. It happens when we engage our creative powers. All I really mean when I ask about your alignment plan is how are you putting law of attraction to work on your behalf? That’s it.

There’s a bunch of different ways you could do that …

  • You could use the “set it and forget it” intention setting routine.
  • You could use a powerful affirmation or pray rain journal.
  • You might eliminate tolerations in favor of what brings you joy.
  • Maybe you visualize five minutes every day about your dream come true.
  • Or work on getting better at upgrading your thoughts.
  • Maybe you act as if it’s already done, or you meditate nightly to better hear guidance.

It doesn’t matter as much what our alignment plan is, as much as that we have one and are working it.

Right now the foundation of my alignment plan is Vishen’s 6 phase meditation. I also add in affirmations and a couple of resistance-releasing techniques as called for. And I do my best to remember that having fun is key to my highest success. That’s my current plan. Over the summer I used lots of 17 second repetitions, and some rich visualizations by giving 3 answers to 3 questions.

That’s how I’m doing the vibration management work. I know that I lead my manifesting party by working my alignment.

So before you wonder where your stuff is – or write me asking about it – make sure you’re walking the LOA talk in some form or fashion. It doesn’t have to be hard work or a complicated process – but you do need to work your alignment before you expect something different to happen.

    Yep, that’s me! It is sweet — it used to be played a lot as a filelr in the ABC’s after school program, a long time ago. It’s from some rock opera or something I think. But I was looking for a hi-res version and didn’t notice that the link I posted doesn’t have the original music. is better.

    Thanks to remind us of that important aspect of LOA work. This is not only valid for the LOA but in fact for anything you want to get done. “Plan the work and then work the plan” in a consistent way is something they will also teach you in business schools. It’s just that most people don’t apply such common sense practice in their own day to day life.

      Good point, Anna! It’s not just our LOA work that we benefit to apply this concept to. In fact, I’m sure that’s why so much attention has been devoted to closing the “knowing/doing gap” in the personal development field. 🙂

    I also just try to let as much as possible to the Universe… If I want something, I remind myself to not slip into needing it… Because I believe the Universe knows better even what it is that I truly want…
    I basically go with the flow and work on feeling good no matter what…
    Plus I’m working on my bullshit beliefs that have been with me for years and I know they generally ‘sabotage’ me in living my fool potential…
    How do I do that… Consciously observing myself in interactions with people, paying attention if I get triggered, and so finding the beliefs, than deliberately searching for different perspective related to the belief… Sometimes they are shifted instantly, others need a couple of ‘rinse and repeat’ cycles, but it’s fine…
    For me the best is to work generally on yourself and then you will spontaneously be ‘supplied’ with what you want and need, I believe…

  • I LOVE the 3 answers to 3 questions. Adding this to my manifesting toolkit, in the “stuff I use everyday category” LOL. Putting a post-it note on my desk so I’ll do this when I come into my office. Very powerful!

    I have been thinking about weather just being happy and leaving it to the universe to figure out what i want to give me the best is a good idea
    weather i should atleast ask universe once about what i want and leave it to the universe then..

      Yes, just focusing on happiness and leaving the rest to Universe is a very valid alignment plan, Anonymous! Lots of people find that works exceptionally well for them.
      Some find it easier said than done, and putting that plan into practice is more challenging than intended.
      Lots of different approaches to creating alignment to what we want. Here’s to you finding the one that serves you best! 🙂

  • For some people who have difficulty with the idea of alignment you might think of it in terms of music. If you are wanting something, like cash, romance, or health, think of those desires as being a symphony of the entirety of what you are wanting. If you play notes that are not in harmony with the symphony, they are in discord sound bad. If they are in harmony they sound good.
    The same thing works with the thoughts you are thinking. If they are in harmony with what you are wanting, they feel good. If they are in discord they feel badly. Your emotional guidance system gives you information to whether your thoughts are in alignment or not. Just as you use your ears to find notes that sound better, you use how your thoughts feel to bring them into alignment by finding thoughts that feel better.

    I believe our beliefs, whatever they are, are 90% of the work. I’m a quantum physics nut so I practice ‘it exists’ and I already have it as a possibility. I get there by repeated focus and leaning on my guidance system as to whether I need to tweak anything and I assume it will be delivered for me. The focus keeps the desire alive and knowing it already exists strips away any capability or worthiness issues or other such nonsense.
    Works for me! 😉

    You couldn’t be more right–When I found out about LOA, I used to fumble through process after process and lots of techniques to keep me focused, but all they did was distract me from true alignment…so although things changed rather slowly, I now agree that putting alignment first is the best feeling ever, so whatever it takes to get there…as your suggestions said.
    My favorite practice is The Book of Positive Aspects, I’m old fashioned like that! But I modified it for me, whereas sometimes I write about physical manifestations, like hiking, and sometimes I just feel inspired to write about Happiness, Clarity, Fun, and especially Alignment, and then more flows. For me, this is the #1 thing I do, although I love to jog early, have a few minutes to meditate, and then do the Book. Once I established the clear and consistent practice, things have flowed so much better for me. Wishing you all lots of success as well, no matter what your go-to practice is, just make sure you do it for the fun of it.
    It is amazing to watch how fast you can go from feeling miserable to feeling like nothing can stop you, just from all of this LOA practice!

      I agree completely that a practice won’t serve us at all if we aren’t enjoying it. In fact, engaging the “work” in order to make something happen isn’t the most aligned approach. (Although I have done that routine myself before!) lol
      Kudos to you also for being so clear about what your “plan” is. I think it helps lots of aspiring creators see how it’s done, so thanks for posting this here. 🙂

    There it is again! I was just thinking about this last night, the fact that cleaning up our thoughts (and hearts) is key to this process, which does not work otherwise. That is walking the walk.
    I also give out a Thank you prayer of appreciation daily and immediately when something manifests.
    Additionally, I follow the “whatever” attitude, like, “yeah, I am going for this and having fun and whatever will happen is okay with me because I know the Universe has always had my back and continues to do so”
    Also, a very important one, is to be in-tune with the feeling that things are coming. I have experienced this several times in my life before and lo and behold, manifestations came. It is a kind of excitement in the air that you feel, like a breeze within, that is an indication that things are coming. And do not forget the slew of clues the Universe sends all the time that only click with you!

      Oh, you’re right, Elle! Appreciation is a great way to incorporate some vibration management on a daily basis, and that’s one I use regularly, too.
      And I love what you’ve added about the “whatever” attitude. There’s something magical about that kind of “hootlessness” – it’s just completely free of attachment and hard work, which is why I think it serves us so well to get there.
