You’re Right

In seeing a wide variety of responses about what’s happening in the world lately, it’s got me thinking about how we each get to be right.

No matter what conclusions we come to or which thoughts we embrace, we’re right.

Our focus on it makes it so.

That’s where reality comes from: our energetic attention to it.

Which leads to the question …

what do you want to be right about?

It’s worth choosing carefully what you’re making true.

It might worth changing our mind about some things, or giving up old positions. It might be time to see things differently. And see others differently.

Because whatever we think, we make it so.

There are a few things I’ve changed my mind about lately. And it feels better.

Here’s what I’m choosing to think today:

  • That things are getting better all the time.
  • That we’re all on an upward trajectory.
  • That our well-being is guaranteed. It’s in the bag.

Nothing can put that at risk, unless we chose that. Which I’m not choosing.

(Someone else can choose that if they like. Because we each get to choose for ourselves. But I’m not buying into that vision.)

I’m remembering that it doesn’t matter so much what’s happening out there.

The game worth playing is the one in here: how I feel and what I’m doing about that.

So I for one choose happily ever after. I choose even better. I choose dream come true. 🙂

What do you want to be right about?

This post really helps! I often use the “Would I rather be happy or would I rather be right?” to get me back on my path. I choose feeling happy. I thought I had learned that truth, but now I realize I never get it done. Living contrast this month, has certainly gotten my attention and given me an opportunity to practice, practice, practice. I want to be happy, and until I let go of “how I think things should be”, I’m not living the way I want to live.
Keep these posts coming – please.

Thank you, Jeannette. I really needed this!

I want to be right about the fact that the Universe always knows better than I do and God has a plan. And, I like being right about some of the “worst” things that ever happened to me turned out to be the greatest gifts that I have ever experienced. I know this is true and now, more than ever, I want it to be true!

I am so glad you wrote this…because it is so true…and a great reminder .
You are so right…jobs I thought I had to have, men I thought I wanted permanently, a house I thought I had to have…not getting those things was a gift. I know this, looking back, watching how things evolved.
For instance, the house I did buy brought me to my best friends, the house I didn’t get had expensive, unforeseen repairs that could have been a real drag….
      It all works out perfectly….
Thanks, Jeannette, for another great post as we all try to regain our strength and loving outlook.

Good on you, Amina. That’s all it takes! 🙂

“I choose what I will experience in my Universe! I am master of my reality/life!” 😊

Thank you so much for that. With everything that happened this week I encountered quite a bit of people’s negative expectations of the future, and I for one already know my power.
I already know that it is what I choose to focus on that creates my reality not other people’s no matter where they stand in their life.
Also, to note, that I’ve also bumping up my good feeling focus and ceasing to focus on anything that isn’t what I want. Because I already know that my well-being is a given and everything that I want is only controlled by my own point of focus. While people choose to think the worst and give their power up for outside circumstances that they can’t control, I’m choosing happiness and only giving focus on what I can’t control, my self and my reality which will give way of a very happy and fulfilling life, no matter what is going on outside of me.
I recently received from source that if I make myself so happy, no contrast will be able to drag me down because of my super high flying energy and indeed it’s true. Lots of things are happening around me but my personal life is great and most of all I feel good! And I always know that the universe has my back and always send me “away” from what I don’t want and always towards what I do want, so I never have to truly worry anyway! 🙂
    Life is good! Thanks again!

I find it very useful to remember that everyone is the good guy in their story.
